We had a perfect stay. This little bungalow is a is a jewel. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to some of their vinyl collection, watched birds and sailboats, took the very short drive to Edenton’s historic district for a tour, dinner. We will want to return to this wonderful home! Thank you again for sharing.

Thank you for you kind words. We are so glad you had an enjoyable stay and hope you will visit us again!
Warm regards,

Everything was wonderful to the location, to the sunset, to the dinner recommendations, to the comfy bed, to the amazing waterfront view to the vinyls! I will be back sooner than later.
Rooms were very clean, kitchen was well equipped (and even included some needed supplies), and all necessities were provided for. A great stay, would gladly visit again.
Such an amazing spot for a getaway! The floor to ceiling windows allow you to soak in the water views from inside the open plan kitchen, living room, dining room. Or if you want to catch the breeze or hear the water, just open the sliders. And if that tempts you, step out onto the deck, or go down the stairs to the dock and have a sit! There is also a fire pit outside. And yes, the sunset is NOT to be missed! The hosts were awesome and very responsive to questions when we were there. We stayed here while going into Edenton for eating and touristy stuff. Its a very close drive into the town. And we were SO charmed by Edenton as a destination! The only tough part of our trip was deciding whether to stay and the house and sink into relaxation, or go into Edenton for site-seeing and fun.
The accommodation was well appointed. Excellent kitchen with necessary items, very clean and well featured bath, comfy bedroom and lovely living/dining space. And, the view is breathtaking. Edenton, NC is a gem, one that needs to be explored for its beauty and history.
Agree with other reviews: good location, quiet, clean, many thoughtful amenities, well-stocked, very comfortable and attractive living room. Some minor issues: kitchen on the dark side and especially dining area - may be due to some dead bulbs. Queen bed more like a double. Bathroom lacks space for personal items. Back to the positive: instructions, helpful hints, all communications from owners exceptionally good. Edenton very appealing place.
Sweet little bay cottage with great view. Double bed keeps it cozy. Well appointed and clean. Edenton is a wonderfully historic and quaint town. Would stay again .
We had such a relaxing time and were really able to unwind. The view is from the living room is absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed the turntable and album collection! We were well taken care of and are so grateful we got to stay there!
This was a cozy house with a spectacular view! It has a very warm inviting atmosphere and it was very peaceful. A wonderful place to relax and recharge.
House was beautifully located on the water .. it was a last minute booking and the check in process was very easy. The panoramic views from the deck were stunning. The sunsets amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! We left renewed and relaxed Great getaway!
Such a cute, cozy place. Was lucky to catch a beautiful sunset one night, and the dock was perfect to sit and relax and stare off into the water. Loved our stay and would stay again!!
Absolutely perfect vacation for family! Owners are so responsive and helpful. Jet ski was a big hit! Very clean and beds are super comfortable. Listening to the loons morning and evening was a big highlight.
We had a wonderful stay at East of Edenton on the Albemarle Sound. The views were absolutely stunning, especially the sunsets right over the water—truly peaceful and beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for my wife and I. The house itself was comfortable and well-kept, and Eric and Julianne were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The dozens of classic rock albums were a nice bonus. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
