We stayed for couple of nights and the room(carpet) stink. I complained to Vacasa and the hotel folks the day we checked in but no action was taken

Not great
The lodge is more like a small, outdated hotel. We did appreciate the free parking in their lot because Aspen street parking is expensive ad we could walk downtown. Our room was in the basement directly adjacent to the breakfast area. If we opened our door, anyone getting their breakfast would look directly into our room. I've never had a basement hotel room so this was strange and not great. We arrived early and there was no one at the front desk. We came back at check in and again, no one in sight, until they heard us chatting and then emerged from somewhere in the lobby. We were told the front doors would be open when we came back later after a show, but the desk would be unmanaged. Our room doors were not super secure so I felt unnerved that this place is always unmanaged and open to passersby. My biggest annoyance, though, was narrow tub/shower that couldn't accommodate a human and the shower curtain, so gross. Vacasa should have updated this place before taking over.
