Absolutely wonderful. The host has a beautiful getaway and easy access. The house features were excellent and my wife loved to eclectic details that kept her busy enjoying all the little nick-nacks. The kitchen has everything we needed. Over-all the best place we have ever stayed. Thanks, Sandra

This property was ideally located to the Humboldt National Park. Our goal for visiting the area was to see the Redwoods and we coul not have done better.
right off 101 / Ave. of the Giants, (redwoods), easy commute to small towns, hiking, fishing and Shelter cove (black beach too). Home and grounds were lovely and well appointed. Owner was a joy to work with. Would / will stay here again.

The property is exactly as advertised on the listing. It’s very secluded and quiet. It was the perfect place to spend a quiet relaxing weekend with my wife. The redwoods are a 10 minute drive away and we got some great hiking in. There is a town close by but it’s tiny and doesn’t have much for services do pack appropriately. The owner is very nice and responsive to messages. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
This house is beautiful. Perfect setting. We really enjoyed the private setting. Didn't mind the 10-15 minute drive to Mirada(nearest restaurants/gas station). Perfect location for the Avenue of the Giants.
The house is immaculate. Great sitting areas both inside and out. Security fence with private gate.
Would absolutely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend stay in a beautiful home designed with love. Even if my plans of visiting the redwoods were somehow canceled, I would have been perfectly content with studying the decor and sinking into deep relaxation in an oasis of lush flora and delightful motifs. Many thanks to my gracious host for this unforgettable experience, and I cannot wait to share this gem with others!
This lovely house is in a beautiful spot overlooking the highway and the Eel River valley, and very conveniently located to explore the Humboldt Redwoods. Lovely outdoor spaces as well, although the mosquitoes were out while we were there. A couple of the directions for using the home could've been more clear, but Sandee was very quick to communicate and clear things up for us.

Yes, This time of year we have mosquitoes.... that is part of nature.... most people have no problem with a combo front door lock. I am sorry and it was confusing for you....
Quiet nice, nestled among huge redwoods. Loved waking up here every morning. Coffee out on the deck. Sandee was awesome and so communicative with directions on how everything worked. Highly recommend!

your wonderful yourself!!! Love meeting nice people! Hope to host you again! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my home!!!
The home, location and host were amazing. The home is beautiful and comfortable and the setting is wonderful. We had everthing we needed for our time near the Avenue of the Giants. We could not recommend this place any higher and were thrilled with our stay. We would come back here in a heartbeat. Our exemplary host was considerate and attentive to our needs.
A cozy updated home with great views of the trees and the river. Lovely decor and colorful dishware are nice added touches. Detailed instructions made access and stay seamless. The location was perfect, set in the lush and majestic Redwoods, a short drive to Humboldt State Park, and small, quaint nearby towns and gift shops. If you're up for an adventurous ride, take the hour drive to Shelter Cove for stunning coastal scenery in a remote location on California's "Lost Coast". The Surf Point Coffee House serves up an excellent latte and homemade baked goods made fresh in-house daily, with a diverse menu of other freshly made breakfast and lunch items, not to mention the breathtaking panoramic oceanfront views.
