Our spacious Royale Palms condo has it all. It is professionally decorated with spacious living and dining area, a full kitchen, full bath room for each bed room with granite counter top throughout, and a laundry room with full size washer and drier. A private 250 sq. huge balcony runs the length of the unit and has spectacular views of the ocean and the lake. If you need a bigger space, our condo can be rented as a 3 bedroom with additional lockout unit.

There is Myrtle Beach, and there is Kingston Plantation's Myrtle Beach.

Royale Palms at Kingston Plantation is Myrtle Beach's newest and grandest oceanfront resort. Special rate for long term winter rental is available.

Stay was not pleasant. We did not have any blankets/comforter only flat sheet. It was very uncomfortable. Wish we knew so we would have carried our own blankets. Pillows were horrible too! We did not get into the condo until after4:45pm as we did not receive any check in process. Leaving the place by 10am gave us hardly anytime to even enjoy and for the price we paid we should have had little better facility. The guest room had bad odor too and no bedding was provided for the sofa bed. Also there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Expedia/Owner/VRBO should mention everything in their description so the guest can carry everything. Being Part of Hilton properties one always thinks that we will be provided with basic amenities. We have stayed with Royal Palms many times in last so many years and this was one of the worst experiences. Will never go back to this place or suggest anyone to book this property.

Very spacious.

The property is beautiful. There was enough room for all the members attending the conference to be together instead of separate rooms. If the conference is held next year at the Hilton Resort we will try again to stay at the Royal Palms.

Not very satisfied with unit

The property was just average. I feel the furniture could use some updating. There was very minimal supplies. They did not start us off with any soap, paper towels or basic necessities. Which I’ve always had in any unit I’ve rented for vacation. There was no iron or ironing board available for use. I unit could have been cleaner. The glass dining room table made of glass was all smeared. There was no bath mat in the bathroom to step on after showering. The comforters on the beds. All beds were worn. I’ve stayed in this building before with many friends and all the other units I went in were much much nicer.

The BEST home away from home experience!!

Every time I come to Myrtle Beach whether for work conferences, fraternity conferences or just a get-a-way, the Royale Palms is where I always stay. This time it was no different and I felt right at home. The rooms were comfortable and my family really loved the villa. I contacted the property management one time and they were prompt on the response. The only issue I had was the lighting in the unit, but that wasn't a big issue. I hope this villa will be available on my next visit to NMB and thank you a wonderful, comfortable and enjoyable stay!!

Gross awful condo

Gross awful condo...do not stay here no matter if they gave you free stays! Dirty kitchen, dishes, bumps in rug that causes trip risk, mold in shower, toilet broken and moved with water leakage. Addressed the toilet immediately and was to send someone to review We left after less than 24 hours and moved to another condo. Poor communication after complaints. Requested refund and totally ignored...

The room smelled so musty had to purchase air fresheners. There were dishes in the dishwasher didn’t come with any soap to turn the dishwasher on. No soap in the bathrooms.

Poorly maintained unit

Place we stayed the facility was nice but the unit we stayed in was old and rundown, furniture was so filthy didn’t wanna sit on it the carpet was all bumpy and almost tripped the kitchen sink faucet was so loose I couldn’t get cold water. The area was beautiful and would recommend it but not that poorly Maintained unit.

Spacious and comfortable with minor issues

Overall, I am pleased with our stay at this property. The positives: spacious room, comfortable, nice location in Myrtle Beach, clean, plenty of parking. Negatives: could use some updating, particularly with the carpet and living room furniture, this is a 24-story building that only has 3 elevators (only two were working during the entire stay), and it is difficult to get in touch with the owner if there is an issue. I initially thought there was an electrical issue in the master bathroom and attempted to contact the phone number that was printed on the information sheet. I did not get a response but luckily I realized that for whatever reason, the electrical outlet in the bath consistently trips but just needs to be reset each time. Probably still a problem, but at least it is an easy fix!

TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

The unit was FILTHY! Mold in the bathrooms, caked on dust on top of the fans, disgusting ancient pillows, dirty utensils, pots and pans. One pan had oil inside, bottom & handles. The air conditioning was terrible - could not get the unit cool or below 76/77 for the two days. Sunday it spiked to 80. My wife contacted the project manager and an electric contractor called us and said he could be there in 30-45 minutes and could we wait. There was no way I was going to tell my family we needed to stay in this hot unit and finally the owner called and said he would give the contractor the code to get the emergency key. I told him about all the problems and that we will be making a claim for a refund and sharing our review of his property and that we were not happy. Not to mention that we were charged a cleaning fee and the owner told me he pays a premium for cleaning. I’ll be happy to send you pictures. He also told me that there was a water problem in the building that impacts many units. So, you knew and didn’t say anything to us upfront? This was a huge disappointment and if we knew upfront the condition we would have booked elsewhere. Get some new silverware, pots & pans and decent pillows. And check your unit - or make sure your property managers do! In closing - we are making a claim and we want a full refund or a significant discount.

Nice place, missing a few details (helpful tips for future guests)

Overall: We enjoyed our stay, but a easy fixes/additions as well as better communication would've made it nicer. Pros: -Affordable, large space, easy access to the beach. Beach accessories (Spikeball, 4 chairs, 2 boogey boards, 2 nets, 1 skim board) Cons: - Communication with the host. When I first booked, I requested information on how to secure the third bedroom. I did not hear anything from the host. Several days before our trip I inquired again. Again, no response. It was not until the day before the trip I received a response to a list of 5 questions I sent, one of them being about the extra room. Kevin informed me the third room is managed by Hilton and requires at least two days notice. So, perhaps we could have secured it if one of my previous emails were responded to. Once he did begin communicating with me, it was timely and helpful. - Little things: 1 garbage bag and no extras in the kitchen. Batteries in the wii remotes were dead and the wii was not hooked up. There were no extra towels. Our group was 7 and I believe there were 6 towels available. No welcome book: Having a welcome book would help guests know rules about which pools we have access too, whether we can use pool towels, what restaurants are your favorites, what to do, etc. Additional Information: - Check-in is easy. I highly suggest you save the instructions that are sent as it would probably be a bit confusing without them. - Space: The condo has a lot of space and it is larger than the photos make it feel. The living room area has a nice tv, but the seating area doesn't offer a lot of comfort for anyone that's not sitting on the couch. The patio is nice, with an angled view of the water, accessible from the living room and the master bedroom. Both bedrooms have large closets and we were able to put a pac-n-play in both closets for our two toddlers. There is a third bedroom available but we did not use it (see cons). Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with most everything you need. (A complimentary k-cup selection would be a nice touch). If you want coffee, bring your own k-cups or other way to make it. There are ice trays in the freezer and the water tasted fine out of the faucet. Bedrooms: The beds are not firm, but not plush, if you like the middle of the road, you'll be good! Overall, we would stay here again, but we would certainly prep for the aforementioned cons (batteries, trash bags, towels, coffee, etc.) Thanks!

A lot of room to spread out!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very big and gave us a lot of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. The balcony area was huge and a major plus for me. The kids had their own space away from the adults with the kitchen in the middle so the flow of the area worked great and there was tons of storage space in the closets. The hotel group it was with offered unlimited possibilities and we probably never even had to leave the property other than a quick run for food and toilet paper. There was a ton to do there and the shuttle will even take you up to the outlet mall which is a mile or so down the road. Fabulous location and amenities. The only negatives are that we had to buy toilet paper after day 1 (so make sure to take your own), and there is a closet in the bathroom that is in total disarray and doesn’t really go with the how the rest of the place is kept. We would definitely stay here again!
