Amazing property with absolute gorgeous views of surrounding areas. Perfect for hiking, mini bikes, exploring. The kids had such a blast, and it was super relaxing, the cabin had everything we needed. It was wonderful with all of the amenities, even the hot tub in the evening!
This cabin is the perfect set up! Enough room for my husband, two boys, our cousins, their two boys, our puppers and myself. Big enough for us all to gather and be together but the rooms are far enough apart to create the perfect stay! Brady was amazing! He checked in and made sure we were okay! We all had the perfect play space for all our toys and the hot tub was one of the best parts! This cabin does not disappoint!
Great place in a beautiful location.
Having stayed in many different locations around island park, I love how secluded this cabin is.
The hot tub and fire pit were the highlight.
Great sound system and cozy couches to snuggle and watch a movie.
We really loved our stay.
We loved our time here. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed, including good communication. It’s location in the woods is amazing. Lots of wildlife!

Remote
It’s remote and away from people for sure. Very peaceful. A lot of room for family. Would stay again
We came to stay at Winterfell and definitely enjoyed our stay. Hosts were available with plenty of communication. The property was clean, warm, and plenty roomy for the 6 of us. I would suggest not attempting to access the property with anything larger than a 20ft open snowmobile trailer. Or ask the host if they could prepared the road and snowbanks for larger trailer. Plenty of on-site parking, but getting in and out is tight with large trailers. We would stay here again without hesitation.
My two boys, myself, and our two dogs stayed at Winterfell for five days over Christmas. The cabin was just as it is pictured, it's beautiful & clean with plenty of space. We didn't use the loft area with just the three of us, so there is lots of room for a larger group if needed. The moment we walked in the front door we were greeted with a warmth, music playing, & the makings for dinner from from the host on the table. Everything I needed as far as pots, pans, bowls & utensils were there to make Christmas dinner, cookies, & brownies. I definitely overpacked thinking I wouldn't have all the necessary kitchen supplies there! There were plenty of towels for us to use & comfy blankets to cuddle under while watching movies. The hot tub was awesome and I enjoyed relaxing in the peace & quiet. It was really cold while we were there, but that didn't stop us from going outside & playing. It is absolutely serene with beautiful surroundings. I was worried initially about the snow & being able to get to the cabin. Coming from Idaho and having visited Island Park during all seasons I know how much snow can accumulate up there. I was able to get to the cabin with no problem in my Highlander. The host was very accommadating. I appreciated his clear & concise directions to the property and how to check in. He went the extra mile with our "Christmas gift from the cabin." We had an absolutely fantastic experience, we loved our stay and can't wait to visit again.

Very Disappointing
Initially we checked the property out before our check in and because it was in a very remote area and not very covenant. There was concern for one individual in our party who was recovering from cancer and had a heart problem. There was concern if an emergency occurred and there were no close by Medical Facilizes. We informed the owner of our situation and he would only give us a 20% refund which would be a large loss.
We decided to try and stay at that location reluctantly. Upon arriving the place was not well maintained. The floors were dirty and I have pictures, also light fixtures and fans, windowsills, and ect.. There was food left behind in the refrigerator and cupboards. When removing the bedding at the end of our stay, some of the mattress covers had dirt and stains. We also saw a mouse several times in the living room and tried to chase it out. Two couples left two days early because of the mouse. I have pictures to share if needed. I would not recommend this location to anyone, very dissappointed.

Thoughtful, Cozy, Accommodating
My family has stayed at Winterfell Cabin on four separate occasions over the past year. Each time, the cabin has been clean, well—stocked, and well taken care of. It’s clear that Brady and Lindsay have put a lot of thought and effort into this property, including: renovations, new appliances, providing a local guidebook, and adding a hot tub, among other things. During our various stays, we have ranged from occupying every bed to only needing two or three of them; it has been perfectly suited to our every need. We especially appreciated the basic kitchen necessities, cozy blankets, plethora of movies, and easy access to local attractions (including YNP)! I highly recommend Winterfell Cabin to anyone considering a stay.
We had a great time at the Winterfell Cabin (perfect place for Game of Thrones fans). The cabin was very comfortable and welcoming and the hosts are great. The hot tub area is super cool.
The only suggestion I have is to drive a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you book this place in the winter. The roads were maintained but our truck did end up getting stuck in the driveway.
Our family really had a great experience in this cabin. It literally had everything we needed, even the small things we didnt think of. I would recommend this cabin to anyone
