Precious and quaint house near downtown, which gave it a cool vibe. Has a well-stocked kitchen. We got to meet the housekeepers, and they were sweet and helpful

The house was lovely for what we needed. The trains however were very loud even with the noise makers the host provides. It was a well used VRBO so there were some dirty spots and things. Host was very responsive.

We did a lot of cooking and everything we needed was there. Nicer knives would have been great, but we made do. The weather was very cold and the home was warm. The train is very loud. The beds were comfortable and the vibe is cozy.

Very good place to relax. Thank you. If you have senior citizens( no problem with young people) may be slightly difficult to climb front door stairs due to uneven height of stairs. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful old craftsman home that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our kids loved the game room. The beds were very comfortable. The only down side were trains going through Elgin at 5am. The host provided white noise machines which was a lovely touch but it doesn’t help much with the train horns. Other than that we loved the home!

Elgin Wedding Weekend

Caleb’s home was a fantastic place to stay for a family wedding weekend in Elgin. The home was comfortable, clean, convenient to everything that downtown Elgin has to offer and made our time in the area that much more wonderful. Love this place! Our daughter plays basketball at a local college that is close by. We love this house, it’s a perfect set up for the team. The game room in the basement is great for college kids.
