This is a wonderful property for a family to use as a base of operations to Explore San Antonio and the environs. Not only is the house well situated in San Antonio, with easy highway and grocery store access, but the home and yard are also very welcoming. We unfortunately encountered several ants that infiltrated the house, leading to bites and restless nights; the owners are aware and are redoubling their efforts to remove the pests. All in all, a this was a great rental, and our family would readily stay again once the ant issue is resolved.

This was a great location for our mini-family reunion! We had some minor hiccups but Liz responded very quickly and effectively. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a peaceful neighborhood. The beds were awesome! And the little ones really enjoyed the games and axe throwing. Thank you for the memorable visit!

What a great stay! This house was beautifully decorated, well-stocked and in a great location. The host was very helpful and responsive. My friends and I had a wonderful thrifting weekend and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Easy access to the property and the perfect combination of things you need such as coffee maker, blender, kitchen essentials and things you didn’t know you’d need, like the Tv on the covered patio with comfy outdoor furniture and a black stone grill.

Finally. You know how the overall quality of these rental homes is generally less than what you’d hope for? You’re paying hundreds of dollars for sticky floors, beds that have a faint off smell, showers that you just try to not to examine the floor of too closely, air conditioning that is never just functioning as it was designed to, etc. But finally, a little house with a host who gets it. Elizabeth and Michael clearly have an eye for good hosting and just do what it takes. And the best part is they made it incredibly affordable. Our family of 6 (plus grandma makes 7) truly breathed a sign of relief with this one. The only tiny little thing was the ants in the master bedroom areas. And I could tell they’ve been addressed before (a few dead ants as evidenced in master bath) but these buggers seemed stubborn, so that’s aside from that (which didn’t bother my family, so it didn’t bother me), literally no complaints. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtful. Not fancy, but cozy. Would recommend to any mama looking for a safe and quiet and comfy place to stay with her family for a bit. Hosts were 10/10.
