About this property

Do you love the beach?

The Seaside Sanctuary is the ground level unit of a beachfront duplex. It is the 2nd home from the beach with no roads to cross. The front yard is literally thirty steps from one of the most pristine beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. If you open the windows at night, you can hear the rolling surf and smell the salt air. The house is located on a quiet residential street near the north end of the island. There is no public parking in this area so you pretty much have the beach to yourself. The front deck features plenty of seating and is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The back yard has a shed with some beach gear, a BBQ grill, picnic table and a sun sail shade. We welcome well behaved dogs and have a fully fenced yard for your pup to play.

The house is light and bright with a multitude of windows. Everything is decorated in a fun and classy "seaside" style. We believe in a good night's sleep so we invested in high quality memory foam mattresses, crisp, clean linens and plenty of pillows. For the chef in the family, there is a fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook and serve most meals. Nothing is more annoying than going to a vacation home that has only one pot and 3 plates! The house has high def smart TVs, bluetooth sound bar for streaming your favorite music and lightning fast wifi throughout. We are neat freaks so you can expect the house to be immaculately clean. In fact, we do a full deep cleaning after each guest. We tried to think of everything so you have all the comforts of home.

The Village of Anna Maria, on the north tip of Anna Maria, is the best part of the island. It is known for beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunsets and a bunch of really nice people. Not surprisingly, our number one recommendation is to set up an umbrella, plop down on a beach chair and watch the waves roll in. If being a beach bum is not your thing, you can stay busy by hunting for seashells, building a sandcastle or trying your hand at surf fishing. Either way, we provide all the equipment and recommendations to make your day at the beach relaxing and enjoyable.

This rental has everything you need. beach access is right outside, kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, the kids room has great toys and books. The bathrooms are dated but overall the rental was clean it was such and easy check in/out process

The property is cozy and fit our family of 5 well. The closeness to the beach is amazing. We saw all kinds of wildlife including being only 5 feet away from a manatee. It is close to great restaurants and shopping, we never drove far to eat out. Kitchen is great we never had to look for anything.

A little bit of heaven

Every expectation for our time of much needed R&R was exceeded. Our rental was clean, peaceful, within steps of the beach. Our hostess, Stephanie, was very accessible to any questions we had. We definitely plan to come back and we don’t need to research rental homes, we have our home away from home on Ana María Island. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else.

Love Anna Maria!!

Our 3rd time staying at Stephanie’s seaside sanctuary! Absolutely love the location - proximity to beach, pine street shops and Rod and Reel pier restaurant. Cozy and functional beach accommodations, with laundry and a shed full of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and wagons. (Grandkids even made the shed their Fort!) Anna Maria island is max relax and Stephanie is a pleasure to work with!!

Just Right

The apartment is very clean, with comfortable beds and a very well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels. Proximity to the beach was as best as could be without being directly on the water. Stephanie was a perfect host and was available immediately for any questions we had. The only complaint we have is the upstairs guests could be heard. We could hear them walking above us as well as their 2 dogs barked frequently. But that was very minor. We would definitely come back again and stay at this very adorable unit.

Immaculate and steps from the beach

This beach house was exactly what we were looking for. Private, close to the beach, and well-equipped. Stephanie thought of everything, and even intervened when we were woken up by a noisy construction crew at a neighboring property! She contacted the owner right away, and no more early morning noise. She truly went above and beyond! We were able to walk to restaurants. And also, enjoyed the full, modern kitchen with every amenity you could think of. And did I mention the mattresses? The most comfortable I have ever slept on in a vacation rental! Great place for a relaxing beach vacation :)
