We had a great time, the elevator was a welcome surpise and great for unloading. The 2nd-floor unit was in great shape, clean, well-equipped and overlooked a beautiful beach. I would stay again and recommend the unit to anyone.

Rental was super nice and in a great location. Owner had everything that you might need to cook in and providing towels, linens, and two beach chairs was very helpful. We will stay again.

The perfect place for our vacation

My husband and I stayed a week at this unit with our 11-yr old son. It was perfect. The unit is clean and relaxing and the location was ideal for us. It was as advertised. We would stay there again.

Property was clean and seemed larger than expected based on photos. Host was responsive. Some hand towels in bathrooms would have been good and maybe another chair on the balcony, but overall quite nice.

Beautiful Condo

This is a very nicely decorated, well appointed unit. The building and grounds are nicely kept as well. Hosts are very easy to communicate with. Very nice property. This was our first stay in this unit, but will not be our last. We booked our next stay here before we checked out!

Wonderful Place in Surfside Beach

We've been coming to Surfside for over 20 years and this is our favorite condo we've stayed in! Very clean, quite spacious and beautifully decorated. Balcony has a great view of the beach. Elevator is a huge plus for bringing in luggage and groceries. Very easy access to the beach. Communication with the owner was a breeze. Thank you Jack and Karen for having us and we hope to stay again next year!

Perfect Spot!

Jack and Karen’s place was perfect for our little family. We stayed in Surfside for a week and we loved being within walking distance (.6 miles) of the restaurants and fishing pier. The condo was well appointed and VERY clean. It can sometimes be dicey renting a place at the end of high season with the wear and tear from previous guests, but everything looked perfect. Many of the families we met have been coming to the same building for decades, so that should give you an idea of how great it is!

Nicest condo we have stayed in

Great location on a nice and uncrowded beach. Short drive to garden city pier with arcade and a couple shops and restaurants. 10-15 minute walk to a few restaurants in surfside. Small pool but still never crowded. Condo itself it better decorated than my house. We equipped with good furniture and comfortable beds. If we come back to surfside we will try to rent again.

Beyond expectations

Better than pictured! Not to mention, so well stocked. When we vacation, we like to eat in for most of our meals to beat the crowds. The kitchen had everything and more to do just that. The outside grill was a bonus too. Your place is just beautiful and I hope others treat it as their own.We loved the location of the complex. We will stay again for sure.

Well supplied kitchen. Beautiful furniture. Very well maintained unit! We had other family staying in 2 other units in Surfwatch II. And this was by far the best! Jack and Karen quickly responded to any questions we had and help to make our vacation better!

Wonderful accommodations!

For over 40 years, we have stayed in numerous condos along the Grand Strand -- from Garden City to North Myrle, once or twice a year. This unit is hands-down THE BEST one we have ever stayed in. It is spacious, has QUALITY furniture, appliances, and kitchenware, regular AND Keurig coffee makers, overhead fans and floor fans, full size washer/dryer (in large laundry room). The grounds are very clean, the pool was clean, access to the beach is very close. Neighborhood and beach are beautiful. The owners are very nice and helpful to work with. We WILL be back!

Great stay!

When we walked in the condo we knew immediately we would want to stay here again! I thought it might be kind of dark inside, but while the walls looked gray in online photos, they were a peaceful blue/gray in real life. We were also surprised at how big the main living area was! The condo was tastefully decorated, and very welcoming. Having an elevator was a huge plus! We’ve been coming to Surfside for years, and have rented many different properties, from large houses for big family vacations to beachfront condos for just the two of us. This condo checks all of the boxes for what we want at this point in our lives! We would definitely rent here again!

First Ocean Front

Our stay at this condo was beyond our expectations. The unit was extremely clean and welcoming. The condo itself is spacious and nicely decorated. It has a well appointed kitchen. The photos do not do it justice, it is so much better. The welcome package was a great touch. With easy access to the beach, and beach chairs already there for your use, how great could it be. My wife and I have been visiting the Grand Strand for over thirty years, and finally found the "perfect place". The Millers

Fantastic Week & Stay!

This condo is absolutely perfect for a small family looking for a beach getaway. Extremely clean, well maintained, and nice furnishings! Totally equipped and stocked with everything you might need--full kitchen sets, smart TV, extra fans, full sized washer/dryer, extra beach toys, plenty of space to spread out, drying hooks everywhere...they have thought of everything. Highly recommend using Beach Services Ltd to rent umbrellas for the week--always set up by 9am, picked up around 4:30/5pm. They are able to set up right at the waterline (unlike other beaches). Tents/cabanas/shibumis have to be set up 10 feet off the dunes (hot!!!) The location is perfect without too much crowding on the beach-we never had trouble having a clear view. Pool never crowded. Overall a very quiet unit, no noise from neighbors inside or outside! Absolutely plan to stay again! Thank you Jack and Karen!

Wonderful Oceanfront Condo

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this beautiful condo and we would stay there again and again. It is updated, comfortable, and family friendly. You can tell Jack and Karen care about their home and the comfort of their guests. It really is the small things that make it extra special. The kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked the entire time we were there and had all the pots, pans, utensils, and cutting boards you could need. The beds were comfortable. We have stayed at several rental properties in Surfside and this one is at the top of the list! Karen even had hangers in the closets! The only issue we had, and Jack and Karen cant’ do anything about this, but the parking lot can be a little precarious to navigate sometimes, but is manageable. Thank you both for lending us your beautiful home for the week! We would definitely stay with you again!

Beautiful condo on the beach!

This review is for the host only. I’m writing this to share with you just how wonderful our vacation experience was at your property last week. The accommodations, conveniences and proximity to beach/ocean and pool left our family wanting to come back next year. Not to mention, it was very close to where my sister lives. Please let me know if the week of 7/26-8/2 is available next year. I know you value the feedback of your guests so I wanted to let you know that the cleaning service could use some improvement. One of the bathrooms had not been well cleaned (dried urine/hair on floor around toilet). We found food wrappers on one of the night stands and a baby sock under another. There was also debris under the couch when we pulled it out for sleeping. Other than the cleanliness issues we loved it. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely condo!
