We really enjoyed our stay here for riding in Windrock. Very convenient to trail 23 and also close to Windrock where some of our riding group had RV spots. Will definitely book here again.
We stayed for Windrock and the trail is super easy to get to from the house. Roughly 20 min from the general
Store if you run trail 23-22 with a little spirit. Very nice well setup
Very clean and close to the trails. Plenty of parking for trailers. Only suggestions is we didn’t have a toaster or microwave. Everything else was fantastic
House is okay. You can tell the renovation was budget limited. They do have a microwave now… but it’s too small for the plates to fit inside. Still no toaster. House was clean and convenient location to the trails. It’s fine for four people or less, for a few nights.
I would love to compliment the host communication getting some little issues that were a VRBO mistake. The property is great everything works as needed I would stay the only “complaint” would be wanting a microwave. The firepit was a great plus and although we didn’t use the BBQ - it is a available for use. The beds are comfortable, linen were clean and the extras in the closet were used and available. The couch was awesome for everyone to have a place to sit and not be crowded. Best part is the immediate commutation with the host - thanks we will be back!!!
**Review of Recent Vrbo Stay at Wind Rock** Our stay at this Wind Rock property was **convenient, cozy, and clean**—perfect for a relaxed getaway! The location was a major win: just a **10-minute buggy ride to the General Store at Windrock. The host deserves a shoutout for **excellent communication** and even providing a **crock pot** upon request—awesome hospitality! **Highlights:** **Impeccably clean home** with modern essentials. **Washer/dryer** was a lifesaver after rides. Quiet, peaceful setting with easy trail access. **Cons (for future guests):** **Kitchen quirks**: The space is tight (though the dishwasher was handy!), and the **utensil drawer** could use an organizer—digging for forks felt like a treasure hunt. **Grill gripes**: As someone who loves cooking on vacation, the **old charcoal grill** was a letdown—consider upgrading to propane! **Overall**, this spot is ideal for those prioritizing cleanliness, convenience, and a responsive host. We’d happily return—just maybe pack our own spatula next time!

Bad choice
The kitchen cabinets smelled musty. One of the fire alarm’s batteries were not connected. The bathroom vent was filthy with dryer sheets hanging down. No microwave. The towels and rags have seen better days. Painting supplies and extra flooring were on the closet floor
