The rooms were incredibly comfortable. The house is updated and cozy and I can’t wait to come stay in warmer weather to take advantage of the outdoor spaces. If you’re traveling with anyone with mobility issues, the first floor suite is lovely. Easy in easy out, no strict clean up rules. We’re definitely going to be back.
It was a good fit for our group of seniors having a reunion.
We could all gather in the living room or sit around the dining table together. I was convenient to the Emily Dickinson and Eric Carle Museums.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
My family of 8 stayed at this house for a local wedding in Amherst. Location was good. We selected this property largely based on the website listing 1King, 3 Queens and 1 Twin bed all in separate bedrooms. Unfortunately the 3 Queen beds turned out to be 3 Full beds. Sleeping quarters were cramped for my tall family. I contacted the host a couple days before our visit to verify the listing was correct on the bed sizes and she disclosed that the beds were actually full size. She apologized and updated the listing, but it was too late to find alternative lodging. The host offered a small discount for this listing error, but this was never received. The house is “pet friendly” so we brought our golden doodle along. That was nice, except the yard is chock full of ticks. I thought we had a lot of ticks where we live, but this was a whole different level. After taking the dog outside for a couple short potty breaks on Friday afternoon, we spent most of the evening extracting ticks from the dog and each other! We found at least 10. We were extremely careful to keep everyone on the stone driveway after that. My wife and I slept in the King bed which was comfortable. We fortunately brought along a light blanket as only very heavy blankets were provided. The house is very “lived in”. Closets are mostly full with the owner’s stuff. The living room was comfortable for hanging out with the family. Kitchen had sufficient supplies for limited needs.
