Fantastic property. It had more amenities than we could ask for. Incredibly kid friendly and very well thought out. Property owner was amazing and overly responsive. If we visit Indianapolis again we will for sure try to stay here again

The host was super helpful and engaging, and the location is really wonderful for enjoying local culture and walking trails. Broad Ripple is a great part of Indy, and this is a great location in Broad Ripple.
It was a great stay!! The treehouse was a great spot for my friend and I to meet up for the weekend!! The hosts thought of all our needs and were very generous in their preparations. Also the park across the street was a fun place to go!!
Absolutely amazing! You can feel the love in the home and it's everything everyone said and more! Best sleep I've had in years. My preferred spot anytime I'm in town. 11/10
We stayed two nights at the Lodge, the place is decorated like a lodge/treehouse. It's nice. It was very clean. the towels were white and fluffy. I love fluffy towels. The beds were comfy. We had a couple of very tiny glitches, but Scott's responses were immediate and he did everything he could to make us comfortable. We loved the Broad Ripple chips, the applies, the water, the cookies that Scott left for us as a welcome gift. Thanks for a memorable stay!
This is my second time staying and I’ll continue staying as long as they will have me. Location couldn’t better for visiting my daughter at Butler. Cute neighborhood with great food and love the nearby park. Owner is great and very easy to communicate with. Also, this rental is super clean and comfortable. Best beds I think I’ve ever had in a VRBO!
From the moment we walked in this cozy little space was fun! Well kept with obvious love. Interesting things to entertain the eye. Quiet - which is extremely important to me. All kinds of handy goodies all over the place. I would highly recommend!
We had a lovely time. The house literally had everything- from ring holders to phone chargers. We took advantage of the proximity to the park and local shopping. The restaurants in the area were wonderful. This was hands down the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in and the owners were super accommodating. Will definitely be back!
This is a return stay for us, and it was just as fabulous as before! We love the ease of parking in a very safe neighborhood! The deck is an added bonus as we sit out there in the morning when the weather is nice. Amenties are A+ with fresh white linens and towels. It's the homiest VRBO we've ever stayed in! We'll be back!
We've stayed here several times. Scott is very responsive and cares about his guests who stay at the Tree Top Lodge. The lodge is so clean and homey. I love the extra level of hospitality of fresh WHITE linens and towels, and the lovely treats that get you through your first day's stay. We will continue to seek out the lodge as our preferred VRBO in Indy. Thanks so much!
How to summarize perfection? The Lodge was spotless- fresh white fluffy towels and clean white linens! The warm welcome tray and fresh eggs in the fridge was a wonderful surprise which allowed us to enjoy our first day without the need to rush to the grocery. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely make this our priority stay for our travel to Indy. Thank you for a truly lovely stay!
Our stay was perfect. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is always a huge plus. There were so many thoughtful touches from our hosts. The outlets all had covers in them, we have very curious toddlers so we appreciated this very much. They left some local snacks for us and we loved trying those. They were available for anything needed and the communication was fantastic. The place was amazing. Very clean and comfortable all around. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We spent a weekend in the city to visit the Speedway Museum and enjoy some fishing. It was a difficult ask, find a place that has easy access to nature, but is also close enough to the city. Also please make sure that it is safe and comfortable and fun enough for a 10 year old and a 1 year old! This home did it. The home is in the middle of the city. It is close to so many great restaurants, shops, and all the Indy museums and attractions. But as soon as you turned the corner it felt like you were a world away. The home sits right off the river on a major trail, making it easily accessible. Unfortunately we had bad weather, but this would be a great trail to walk or bike or to kayak down the river. Once we stepped into the home, it felt like we were taken out of Indy. The home was absolutely lovely and had all the necessary amenities for our family. It was cozy and had so many special touches. It was also safe for my little one (thank you for the high chair!). My 10 year old appreciated all the board games you shared. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Our Treetop Lodge on Broad Ripple Park is on a 62-acre park in the artsy village of Broad Ripple. It's really a dream location for us. We love to travel (Northern California and Italy are our favorites), eat out, listen to great music, enjoy the arts, argue about interior design, and dote on our precocious mountain cur, Madeline.
We have two grown children, one a firefighter and the other an artist married to an engineer. Both of them own homes in the neighborhood, and we get to walk the dog past their houses every day!
We regularly talk about how we can get more cake into our lives.
I'm a writer and non-profit director, and my work focuses on the intersection of creativity and spirituality. My wife, Danielle, is a medical estheticisn at Renova Skin in Carmel. She focuses on making skin look as beautiful as possible.
We love to offer comfort, care, and creativity through the hospitality of our Treetop Lodge.
Currently, I've been pondering a quote from Tolkien: "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
Why they chose this property
We searched years for this unique home. Its immersed in nature, AND in iconic, artsy Broad Ripple. We have deep roots in Broad Ripple. My (Scott) family brought me to this park as a baby. I have lived in Broad Ripple most of my adult life. Both our kids were raised here. I thought I knew it pretty well, but while driving around one day in the early 2000s looking for our next home, I got a little turned around and ended up on this double dead-end street where all the houses face the secluded nor side of the park. I immediately said "I want to live here someday!" It turned out that one of my mother's friends live on the street and when she heard they neighbors were thinking about selling she call my mom, who called me. I immediately drove over, knocked on their door, and made Mr. and Mrs. Virgin and offer. We've owned the home since 2003 and have renovated or redone every room. The Lodge is full of meaningful decor and items, and if you like that kind of thing you can leaf through the book that tells what everything is. We hope you enjoy the nieghborhood and the park as much as we do. Take a morning or afternoon stroll in the park, rent our kayaks for a peaceful paddle on the river, walk over to Lucianna's for dinner, and have a glass of wine on the the back deck. And let us know if you need anything at all to make your stay more perfect.
