Loved this cabin on the river. It is well maintained and has a beautiful view. The fireplace is great if renting in the winter.

Amazing place to stay
This house is beautiful--inside and out. Lovingly maintained by the owners who have clearly put time and thought into every detail. The setting is so peaceful! The house is very spacious and yet it has a terrific cozy feel to it. Although while in the house you feel like you are at a private retreat, you are still close to town with great shopping and all the conveniences that you can imagine. The pictures do NOT do it justice!

Gorgeous Log Home at a Fantastic Price
The pictures of this place give a great overall view, but its so much better in person! I went up with a group of friends for the weekend, went snowboarding a few miles away at the Summit, and we had a wonderful time. The bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and appliances were all 'like new' and the views from every point of the house were amazing. The private road is secluded somewhat, so it wasn't noisy and there was plenty of outdoor and indoor space for gathering, playing board games, cooking, etc. I will definitely be coming back to this place, so all I ask of anyone reading this, is to respect this property, because its a GEM!!!

Fabulous place!
This property is truly outstanding in every way - great location, beautiful interior and exterior, and close to both Seattle and to hiking and skiing. I stayed here for four days with my family (6 of us ages ranging from 6-65) and everyone loved it. There are three levels -the main level has an open living room/dining room space with a wood stove which cranks out the heat, plus a half bath and a master suite (complete with access to the deck) and a state of the art bathroom (it's like something out of Architectural Digest). There is a loft above the living room with two twins (very cozy with a great view),and a lower level with two bedrooms and a bathroom. The multi level deck (three levels) is just gorgeous and looks out on a lovely river and a mountain. Even though we were there in January, we saw some kayakers go past on the river. The owners were easy to deal with and there is a caretaker on site who greeted us when we arrived and helped us find our way around. We only have a few caveats: the access road is full of potholes so drive SLOWLY, the driveway is very steep so drive SLOWLY, and the house is on the cool side (so keep that wood stove stoked!). Other that that, it's paradise!
A few things you might want to do while you're in the area: go to Snoqualmie Falls (a mini Niagara), check out the skiing at Alpental if you're brave (or Snoqualmie Summit if you're not), or, in the summer, it looks like there is some great hiking just up the road.

Our family loves to hear positive feedback. We are very proud of our home and we hope all of our guests can share in having a fabulous experience.

Oh my goodness, where to begin. This place felt like our own private resort on the river. After spending the summer on the west coast this was our favorite and it wasn't even close. We booked a lot of difference places and some look nice in the pics but are just rentals. This is clearly someone's labor of love and it just had a very special feel to it. Completely surrounded by water and nature. I didn't get a chance to talk to the host but everything was seamless.

Spectacular river front home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The photos don't do the house justice. The location is stunning, lots of privacy, and the view of the river and the mountains through the tall windows in the main living area is incredible. The house is very comfortably appointed with plush bedding and towels, very comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed exploring the nearby towns and the close proximity to Seattle.
The owner was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. A great experience all around!

Enchanting Cabin In The Woods
What a spectacular home! Less than a mile from the expressway, yet feels like miles away from civilization. Watching the black bear, momma deer with her twins, the many Elk, fat resident bunny, ducks, woodpeckers and bats that frequented the back yard was a real treat. The log home is very comfortable and well appointed. Levinworth and Mt. Saint Helen are a must to see and if you are able to do a hike, climbing Mt. Si has to be on your agenda. Very easy commute to downtown Seattle and the waterfront. We look forward to staying here again.

This home and its surroundings are beautiful! Stunning views and only 30 minutes from Seattle!
This log home is stunning and the views are breathtaking! It was truly the PERFECT location for our family vacation--a beautiful, quiet, peaceful setting (nestled in the woods, on the banks of a river), but less than a mile from the interstate that leads directly into Seattle. We absolutely loved being out in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but just 30 minutes from all of the fun things to do and see in Seattle. Everyday, we spent half of the day at the house, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors; then we would drive 20 minutes to the Issaquah Highlands Park and Ride, catch an express line bus (30 minutes, limited stops) into Seattle, and spend the rest of the day enjoying the museums, parks, market, restaurants, zoo, and shopping in Seattle. The owners were so easy to work with and so helpful. Their home is absolutely beautiful (inside and out), luxurious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything a family or group would need. We highly recommend this home!

Lovely log cabin on the river...very quiet and zen.
Six of us stayed for a week in May. The cabin was larger than the pictures showed with lots of room to stretch out and be comfy. A well equipped kitchen and nice appliances plus a woodstove and large screen tv. We mostly stayed outside on deck. Will come back :)

Log home is stunning with superior craftsmanship! The panoramic views from the river deck were amazing. The owner was great to deal with. Seeing the elk each morning from the platform deck was a bonus. You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay and our family is already talking about returning. Definitely recommended for a retreat while visiting Seattle city.

Simply Fabulous for my family of five.
The home is everything the owners say it is and more and I highly recommend this listing. I have already recommended the log home to many friends and family. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire and the kids played by the river in the garden. We went to Seattle to see a show and the drive was very easy and quick.

Quiet Paradise... Shhhhhh
The view and privacy were amazing. The cabin was super clean and easy to access to Seattle. It was apparent from the moment we stepped in to the cabin that everything to make our stay wonderful had been thought of by the lovely home owners. I cannot begin to share how pleased I was with our mini vacation. We are already excited about next year when we can stay again.

The cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family. It is both homely and elegant. Situated by the river and with a view of Mt Si it is the kind of place you can easily wander on nearby trials or sit in the evenings by the fire. Just a delight!

Spacious Log Home on the River
A total of 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids) spent a wonderful week here in March 2015. The home was furnished with everything we needed to cook while we were there, and had plenty of space for us to stretch out. The deck overlooking the Snoqualmie River with views of the mountain was a relaxing spot for us to grill and watch the kids play along the river. The location was perfect, quiet on the river with an easy drive into Seattle. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Wonderful house with nice views
This place has clearly received nothing but positive reviews for a reason. It is indeed a wonderful house with lots of space and located in beautiful surroundings.
The pre-arrival communication was amongst the best we have ever experienced and that all led to an impression of a well-managed enterprise, which was very reassuring given you have to pay a sizeable amount up-front to rent the property. Apart from a minor cleaning issue with the barbeque, the house was clean and spotless. Just down the road you will find the Rattlesnake Lake recreational area with hundreds of miles of trails and other activities. The Snoqualmie Valley trail, which is accesssible from the end of SE 145 ST, was great for the morning run: NW takes you into North Bend and Snoqualmie, SE takes up all th eway up to Rattlesnake Lake.
We had a great stay there.

Fall Retreat
We had the opportunity to get together with three other couples we travel with on occasion. So, with eight people in the home we found it was large enough to ensure our privacy, yet comfortable enough for all of us to join in group activities whether it be a supper, or just visiting in the great room. To say the view was spectacular would be an understatement. It was extraordinary. The location of the property was perfect for our needs given it was only 29 miles away from greater Seattle. But on the other hand, the home was minutes away from the convenience of easy and reasonable grocery bargains, outlet malls, and a gorgeous visit to Snoqualmie Falls that is a must see if one is in the area. Bottom-line is we found this location to provide us a wonderful balance between getting to appreciate the sights and sounds of Seattle against the backdrop of a beautiful vista that was the Washington countryside. As an aside, we discovered that a short drive down the highway to Seattle to the Issaquah Transit Centre had very convenient and cheap access to the city. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would choose this location again in the future, and we highly recommend it to others.
