Nearby you can go off-roading/hunting at doe recreation, visiting a local Winery, have a blast on watauga lake.

Creekside cabin is a fabulous tranquil respite from the city! I had a delightful experience with very nice neighbors who walk like I do. The peaceful setting and the outstanding recent renovation enhanced my visit! The beautiful granite counter topped kitchen and well appointed accessories were greatly appreciated! I look forward to returning in autumn for leaf peeping. I would happily recommend this cabin to everyone who needs peace and quiet!

I gave this 3 stars due to the price compared to the stay. We stayed 4 nights. This was a beautiful spot and it was very clean. I was disappointed in the lack of amenities. For a 4 night stay with 3 adults there should have been more than 1.5 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel for the kitchen. We had only 6 towels, we each used 2 towels the first night and we were out of towels for the next morning, there were also no wash cloths and only one hand towel. We went and purchased amenities the next day. I would make that clear for guests. Also, I believe it should be noted that there are no televisions in the rooms. There is one television in the living room. I would have brought one from home for my Father-in-law had I known there were none. It mentions a television & a smart TV so we thought there would at least be two. You can't turn the A/C below 66, that was tough for the hot sleepers. I do feel as if the ad was a little mis-leading in multiple areas. There are mountains around the area, but I wouldn't call it a mountain view from the actual home. It also showed the things we wanted to visit being much closer before we booked. The price was extremely high for this stay, but all in all we had a great time and the creek was beautiful.

Cabin Weekend

We had an amazing weekend at this creek side cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful and just the perfect spot for two families! Will definitely be back!

Peaceful home

The Creekside cabin met our needs perfectly. We had traveled to the area for a funeral and had other family members staying with us also. The cabin location was peaceful, and just felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here! The host was very responsive and we appreciated the snacks that were left for us. This house has it all - well-appointed kitchen; beautiful bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer; a comfy couch with a smart TV that you can log into for streaming services; and large bedrooms. We enjoyed using the outside area underneath the house and the creek was really beautiful. The house was a little cool, but there are space heaters available for every room, which kept it cozy. The only complaint was that one of the beds was very hard. Also, the mattresses are covered in plastic under the sheets, which made it a little uncomfortable and sticky-feeling at night. We only stayed for two nights, so neither of these was a deal-breaker. We would definitely come back and visit this lovely home again.

Great retreat location

We have never traveled to this area. It is very quiet and remote. The cabin is reasonably equipped. If you want to escape civilization for a while, this is a great choice.

Excellent! Will stay again!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay, and plan to return so we can enjoy the property in the summer as well, because it's been wonderful to be here the fall. The property is beautiful and the view was even more beautiful!
