Lovely farmhouse

Enjoyed all the pictures and history of the farmhouse. Also enjoyed sitting out back with cup of coffee and watching the sun rise. Had a great stay!

Great stay!

Everything was as described and there were no surprises. We were in the area on a hunting trip and only at the house at night left before sunrise. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed sharing our stories of the day. We would stay there again if were in the area. We enjoyed the old character of the farmhouse. Thanks for the rental.

Exactly as described, beautiful old home filled with history

It is exactly as described in the listing, an old home out in the farm country but an easy short drive to Marshall. The home is both rich and history and comfortable to be in, a delicate balance that many find hard to maintain but was perfection in this case.

Marshall visit

This historic farmhouse has all the charm and beauty of the hundred years this home has seen! The Dyer family’s history in Saline County lives on in the height marks on the pantry door, the pictures on the walls, and the period furniture throughout! Having sat in the kitchen chairs 50 year’s earlier, I relived my visit with IG and Nina shortly after taking over IG’s State Farm Agency in April, 1976! Sitting on the front porch , where, on October 1st, 1929, I G sold his first policies, was an exciting piece of history! Modern convenience is combined with a hundred years of history when you visit The Dyer Farmhouse !

Amazing farmhouse!
