Perfection! From the beach towels, kitchen supplies, and the proximity to the pool, beach, and Kaibo coffee this is the unit to rent. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mai Kai!

This condo is beautiful and perfectly located. It is accommodated with everything you can need. The property manager is very responsive. Everything was clean and well appointed. We’re already booking for next year!!

This is the second year we have stayed in this unit. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. Quiet. Convenient bar and restaurant next door. Close to Rum Point beach.

This was a clean and beautifully renovated condo with direct walk out access to Kaibo beach and the pool. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our needs. The kitchen had everything you needed and very spacious. The outside screen patio was great for sitting and reading out of the sun but still outside. We would definitely return to this specific condo.

Elizabeth has thought of everything her guests could need for the perfect stay. We enjoyed heading out in the kayaks she provided,the cooler, the beach chairs, etc. Such thoughtfulness definitely enhanced our week at Mai Kai!

Condo is well furnished. Very clean. Guest bath does need the drain repaired as when you shower the bath fills. Overall a definite 5!

This is an immaculate unit right on the beach in Rum Point. The beds are comfortable, the AC is refreshing after a day outside at the pool or beach, and you will have everything you need in the kitchen. This is definitely a 5 star stay.

Unfortunately, this condo had the stale odor of smoke that greeted us all every time we entered the unit. The condo appeared clean but was not. And on our second day we noticed the air filter was extremely dirty and requested it be replaced with a new one. We hoped the new filter would help improve the air quality but it didn't. Also the towels were old and were not the same color white and the beach towels smelled of smoke as well which required us to wash them all before using along with some of the bath towels. We reported everything to the owner and property manager but there was a quick denial by both as to the smoke issue. In fact the property manager referenced men working outside smoking "weed" next to the building as maybe the culprit. We found that response unprofessional and sad at best. Additionally, we all found it immensly disappointing that our clothes absorbed the smoke odor while in the condo. Consequently after moving to our 7-Mile Beach hotel ,we still had to deal with the residual odor on our wardrobes.As an asthmatic, I found it very disturbing that the property manager and owner did not disclose that this unit had been owned by a smoker. I never leave anything but positive reviews when staying at a property but found this situation so disappointing by all the guests complaints that it warranted the proper review. I believe if you are going to rent a property, please be completely honest in regards to it. Be transparent. You clearly were not.

Beautiful location. Lots of conveniences coffee shop and restaurant next door. Very much enjoyed our stay and the location. Looking to return to same place if available next time.

Great spring break trip

Perfect place for a family of 4 to get away from the snow. Close to several activities/restaurants in the Rum Point area. Short drive to 7 mile beach and other activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mai Kai. The space was nicely updated and included everything needed for a relaxing beach stay. The condo and grounds were very well kept and the location was great. We will absolutely return!

Family get away

From check in to check out our experience was perfect. The property was well appointed, clean and perfectly situated in Rum Point. The private beach was perfect, out son proposed to his girlfriend while walk on the beach.

February break

We stayed during February break and had a great time! The condo is right on the beach and having the beach club next door was very convenient. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the pool and hot tub as well. It’s a beautiful spot.
