2 Bedrooms PLUS Loft with Queen Bed

We would be delighted to share our tranquil Michiana Shores oasis with you and your group. The home is designed and furnished to be a cozy yet luxurious escape from the busy realities of modern life. Sit back and relax on the huge wraparound porch or enjoy the wood-burning fireplace or backyard firepit. Beautiful Lake Michigan beaches are within walking distance (or a 3 minute ride on our golf cart available for an extra fee) and downtown New Buffalo is a 7-minute drive. Enjoy the local restaurants, hiking, wineries, breweries, casinos and golf all within a few miles of the property. There is a park with a playground and tennis court in the neighborhood and a horseback riding stable is just down the street.

The home has 2 bedrooms with an additional queen bed in the loft. The loft also features a family area with a large sectional couch so you can watch movies or play games with the whole group.

The home is fully stocked with all of your household essentials including toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, handsoap, laundry detergent, shampoo, body wash, coffee, espresso, teas, coffee filters, and all of the kitchen/dining essentials we could think of. We aim to provide a fully furnished experience for our guests.

The home is well-suited for an adult getaway but also is equipped to host families with young children:

Perfect getaway to relax.

What a relaxing atmosphere! Just what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the front porch in the mornings and evenings. Watching deer was a treat. The golf cart was a terrific benefit to get to the beach, touring the village, and watching wildlife. Alex was the perfect host.

Very nice house with lots of room. We only used the downstairs bedrooms, but the second floor would be great for older kids.We also rented the available golf cart to get to the beach very quickly - that was both fun and efficient. The house had beach chairs and lots of other equipment.I would definitely recommend this house and we would stay there again!

Perfect for families

We had the most relaxing stay. This place had everything we needed to have a stress free time with our 4 children. We especially liked being able to use the gold cart for trips to the beach. The entire community/neighborhood is quite unique and special. We all enjoyed ourselves!

Lovely Weekend Stay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this modern and well maintained/clean property in a beautiful and peaceful treelined neighborhood. With our two small kids, we were very comfortable and appreciated having access to a foldable crib, toys, and other essentials for the kiddos. Can't wait to go back in the summer and again enjoy the beach, park and wineries/restaurants nearby!

My family (4ppl) and I felt like we we're at home. It is exactly as advertised, very clean, cozy, had everything we needed, centrally located to all the wineries and beach areas. Very smooth check-in, and Alex was very responsive. I wish I would've stayed longer but I will definitely be back!

Alex is from Wisconsin and Kristin is from LaPorte, IN just a few miles down the road from the property. We fell in love with the area after visiting with our 2 young children and decided to buy a vacation home so we could come back and enjoy it more often!

Why they chose this property

We love the tranquility of Michiana Shores. It is wooded and private and close to the beach. We also enjoy going to New Buffalo and Indiana Dunes National Park. There are great restaurants in the area and the wineries and breweries are a fun way to enjoy the local culture.

What makes this property unique

The property has tons of stone masonry and a stamped concrete wraparound porch. We see deer and other animals virtually every day. The property doesn't have any immediate neighbors on either side as we own a lot on each side of the house. It's only an hour from Chicago but you truly feel like you're on vacation. It doesn't feel like just another house with its unique layout and features.
