Hello, Lonnie. I wish I had known you were having problems with the fireplace. I am always available to our guests. I checked the fireplace after you left your review, and it was operational. I'm glad you were still able to enjoy The Buckeye Beech Bunker at Beech Mountain. I hope to be able to accommodate you again in the future. Thank you!

Great location for skiing

We came to Beech Mountain to ski and the condo location was great. The place was comfortable and had nice furnishings. The heat wasn't fully on when we arrived (it was 57 indoors) but we were able to warm the place up relatively quickly with the fireplace. We would return for the convenience to the slopes.

Cozy condo

The condo was a great retreat in the mountains for my wife and I and the cost was very reasonable. It has been tastefully remodeled and was well equipped and very comfortable. The building itself is older but the location next to the ski resort would be great for skiers. The cooler temperatures were a refreshing change. We enjoyed hiking in the area as well.
