Everything was as described. We were familiar with the area and were in town for a few days. As a small studio for two this was perfect. Thank you again!

Nice and practical. Close to grocery.

It accommodated us just fine as a couple, however I feel it best accommodates a single person.

Cozy neighborhood home, just as pictured. I've now stayed twice when visiting family in the area. Erik makes the process easy and keeps a nice place. I'll be back.

What a relief to find this place

I come visit family in Arcata often, and have been extremely underwhelmed by the hotel accommodations in Arcata. As a flight attendant, I have a lot of experience in hotel stays, and what a relief to find this place. Quiet, extremely clean, perfectly located, couldn’t have ask for a better stay.

Perfect for us!

Space is small but extremely comfortable and has pretty much everything you need. The bed, pillows, sheets and comforter were superb ( a comfortable bed is most important to us). Murphy’s Market is right up the street where we were able to get the groceries we needed. Neighborhood is just okay; but we felt very safe in this space. Price is great with a very attentive Erik, the property manager. All in all, a great experience and would highly recommend.

Convenient and comfortable location for stay in Arcata

The Studio on Stromberg is a perfect base for a weekend trip to Arcata. The location is perfect in that you are close enough to downtown to walk or drive, but you are separated from the true downtown area by ~1 mile. We enjoyed being across the street from a grocery store and right next to a gas station. The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. You feel lots of privacy and comfort in the unit. The kitchen is a bit small if you are thinking of a longer stay, but for our 3-day stay, it was perfect! The host is attentive and on-site which is helpful if you need any assistance. The location, amenities, and price make the Studio a great place to stay while visiting Arcata!

There was no air conditioning so the place got a little stuffy and hot. However the place was clean and nice and well kept. The host asked us to wash our dishes prior to leaving but provided no sponge or means of doing so. They also asked us to take the trash out but there was no outside bin in sight to take it so we didnt know where to take it and no instructions were provided.

Overall my experience was good. The communication was a little rough between the host, VRBO and me. I didn’t see the property address in any of the email communications prior to my stay, but did find the property on my own by driving the street listed in the email, along with the instructions for how to find entrance to the property and the photo included of the backyard unit…the unit was blue and I could see the unit partially from the street. If I’d arrived after dark, this would’ve been almost impossible. There were two lock codes listed in the the email prior to my arrival, and that made entry a bit of a challenge. The family living in the house in front of the backyard rental unit were helpful. Overall it was a good experience but not excellent.Thank you
