Tropical stay near the beach

Scott was super communicative and helpful with lots of ideas for my stay near the beach. There is such a lot to do in this area, and I really enjoyed the quiet area to get some work done as well as walk on the beach and enjoy some great down time. Check in was easy and I had everything I needed. Highly recommend for convenience and location.

This little spot is so peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was my favorite. We actually just used it so I could get ready for my wedding and then we passed out after all the events and left in the morning. It’s a perfect spot for a getaway and it’s just simple. Scott was great at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed.

Property was very Clean and inviting. The property really needs another room... bedroom and a bath and a laundryroom is just not enough ... would not rent again.

Tropical Retreat - Pismo Beach area

I stayed at Tropical Retreat for 3 nights while I moved my son into college in San Luis Obispo. Scott was very welcoming and the portion of the home I had was clean, well organized and all faculties were high quality and worked as expected. If you're looking for an entire home, this is not that, but a private entrance, bedroom, bath and laundry room are available. I enjoyed my stay!

Felt like Home

So cute, clean and cozy! I didn’t want to leave! Only cons: Handle on bathtub was broken, so I could turn it on, but wasn’t able to adjust the temperature so it was scorching hot Backyard wasn’t as nice as pictures showed. It was still nice and I enjoyed some time reading out there. , but it was missing the string lights

Excellent Host!

Scott was a great host! The rental is a room within a home, with a private entrance, which was just as it was represented online. It was not ultra quiet. When booking a room within a home, that is to be expected. The room was nicely appointed and clean. I would book again!

I'm sorry we never got the chance to meet given the space was booked for friends of yours visiting for a wedding I believe - nonetheless, it was a pleasure meeting and hosting the two of them as they were a very nice couple and we were happy to accommodate. For the record, the house is generally vacant for all visiting guests and is a very peaceful and quiet environment including the area in which we live. If we may be home with visiting guests, you can rest assured we’re always very respectful of their space and privacy! The hallway is more prone to sounds from time to time during daytime hours however, the rest of the house including the bedroom has never been an issue. At any rate - we were happy to greet and meet them during their visit and you’re all welcome back anytime! ;) Cheers, Scott

Comfortable and Peaceful Stay in a Great Neighborhood Near the Beach

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's property in Grover Beach. The room and bed were comfortable, and the place was clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Scott is an excellent host who communicated exceptionally well, consistently checking to see if we needed anything and graciously allowing us a late check-out. The serene and calm ambiance, accentuated by the soothing sound of water at the entrance, made our stay even more enjoyable. The yard was green, clean and quaint, providing a lovely spot to have meals and to relax. Scott's kindness, attention to detail and hospitality make him a five-star host. We highly recommend staying at Scott's place for a peaceful and delightful experience. Thank you, Scott!
