About this property
Relaxing Country Getaway
Welcome to the Barn in Lexington with a Hot Tub! We built this vacation rental so that people could come out and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Less than 45 minutes from downtown Louisville, but farther than that from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hot tub on the back porch overlooks a nice open area in the woods where you could see Deer, Turkey and all other sorts of wildlife. There is also a nice firepit area with 4 chairs to set and enjoy the fire. The barn is a studio type set up with a King bed out in the open area and a Queen bed with an electric fireplace in a separate bedroom. We would love for you come and enjoy our little piece of heaven in the country.

We stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute... quiet, secluded, and peaceful... hot tub was nice, small grocery not too far away... check in and check out easy... not very good cell service, but outside on picnic table we were able to make and receive calls.... would definitely stay again...
This is my second stay and I love this place. This is a great getaway place to relax and enjoy quiet surroundings. The owner makes every thing very easy for check in and check out. They have a hot tub that is clean and perfect after spending all day in Madison. There is a fire pit and a wood stove inside if you like sitting by a fire. I highly recommend.
It was a very nice little get away without going too far. Everything was clean, including the hot tub. We will definitely keep this place in mind in the future!

We arrived and unloaded our cars and used the restroom which had a half roll of TP. I also moved the toaster and there was food and crumbs behind it as if someone wiped the crumbs behind it. Very small fridge. No hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom or shower. The AC can only be used on low but is sufficient considering it was 96 degrees while we were there. The hot tub has wasps making a nest under the top rim of the tub but they crawl under it and don't bother ya. LOL. The dog down the road will chase and snap at your car. Very irritating and scary as he jumped up to the open SUV window and snapped at my service dog. The bbq is nice but has no lid so don't think you can close it. The porch swing behind the hot tub is nice, as is the picnic table and the beautiful grounds. Quiet except for the 4th and 5th of July. I wanted quiet, so I had to sedate my dog for two days since there were lots of fireworks. No cell service unless you have AT&T and no wifi, no laundry (my guest got dog poo on her so that was a bummer ).Sunoco is close for a few things like TP which was almost a disaster with a guest having Crohn's disease. Too expensive for no kitchen, no washer, no soap, no shampoo, no trash bags, and someone's dirty sweaty shirts, boxers, and socks inside the bedroom dresser.
Everything was great. Only issue we had was that a mouse died in the AC vent and the place smelled a little. Everything was clean, and they provided everything to make the stay pleasant.
We had a wonderful time at the Regatta and staying in your cabin! The hot tub was great, as were the accommodations. Love the scenery and the minimalist decorations. Great location! We saw deer, rabbits, squirrels and lots of birds. Thank you!
This was very convenient for us. Because it was November, we enjoyed the hot water, heat, comfy beds, TV, fire pit and grill. What a neat setting. Thank you!
Amazing property!! I was very private and secluded, very clean, comfortable beds, loved the barn wood and decorations on the inside, had everything you needed! The hot tub and fire pit were a nice bonus while enjoying the surrounding nature. Was close to our travels to Madison. We would highly recommend this place, and will definitely be going back in the future!!

Quiet little spot with all you really need to just relax and unplug for a bit. Super comfy beds, lovely porch swing, fire pit, and hot tub. Don't bother cooking even though there is a hot plate and picnic style grill. Grab some grub on the way in and get to the peaceful part of vacation.
Driving directions were accurate, owners description of property is accurate. This is a private location and on a deadend road. You have neighbors but all keep to themselves and trees provide seclusion. Only drawback we found was that it rained most of our stay and the non insulation of the walls made it a little loud to sleep. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again.
