Pros: this is a convenient location off of 73 and the turnpike. It is pet friendly. The beds were clean. The host was responsive on the app. Mid: this is a hotel. This isn’t a surprise when you look at the listing photos. This also means you have front desk staff in the building to help out and parking is easy. Theoretically this also means you have access to hotel amenities and room cleaning, but that didn’t play out for us. Cons: the pictures don’t match what we found. The room layout was as pictured, but the building amenities (including pantry and laundry) weren’t there. It gives the impression the property has changed hands and not been maintained. Our floors were somewhere between sticky and slimy, our dishes were not fully clean, there seem to be cooking utensils missing, a remote was missing (making that tv unusable), and our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We later found cigarette butts under the couch. As this is a hotel with front desk staff, we tried to address the above issues with the front desk staff. They didn’t fix anything. We then reached out to the host through the app, and they encouraged us to go to the front desk (the host is a third party). We spent three of our four night stay going through available channels to resolve this and while very polite and responsive, nothing was resolved.
