Located south facing, on beautiful maple lined Main street, right in the heart of Wellington, its hard to ask for more. (Licence , ST -2019-0355) What will it be, taking in the sun at the sand covered beach just across the road on Beach street, or checking out the latest gourmet restaurant , all within easy viewing and walking distance, or maybe simply enjoying a mint julep on glass of local wine,in the shade of the gracious , southern style,veranda overlooking all the activity on main street , dreaming about what you will do tonight. Don’t forget all the sports equipment, your valuable bikes, kayaks, motorized vehicles etc, all tucked away in the securely locked garage at the back of the house. You will be needing them soon to ride the “ Millennium Trail” or wine or nature tours. With the open concept layout of the main floor, you will never be left alone, even if its your turn to be in the kitchen. “Painted Lady” , built in 1905 in the “Queen Anne “ Victorian style, shingle-covered and multi - coloured exterior paint, was completed even then as an upscale Summer House for a wealthy Torontonian family. It remains untouched by time over the last 100 years and retains all its original Victorian details and elegance, discreetly updated with fully modern conveniences, an necessity for present day living and enjoyment.Wifi, satellite TV, Netscape, central air, modern electricity, plumbing, Italian leather, etc. Wether as a center for Hub tours, by car, by bicycles, or by foot, or as a family destination in itself, deciding which close by Provincial Park Beach to visit next, its all there waiting for your enjoyment.

This home is such a gem! It's in a great location, has lots of space, and so much character. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit PEC. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at this sweet Victorian home. It is a great location for just relaxing and exploring Prince Edward county. We would definately recommend it to others.
We loved everything about this house! The lovely interior has been really well preserved. It's very comfortable for a group of six. The porch is great, we sat out there every evening. The beach is beautiful (5 minute walk from the house). Easy walk to the food store and restaurants. Thanks very much to the owners who are quick to reply and very pleasant to deal with!

Belle maison ancestrale avec un porche magnifique pour profiter de l'extérieur durant les belles soirées d'été. Très bien située dans la ville de wellington, donc près des vignobles et à 20 min des plages de Sandbanks.
House minutes from beach and lake. Old house kept very very clean. Perfectly functional appliances and AC. Well stocked in every way. Even had a high chair for our toddler. Kids loved the old house. Want to make the stay a regular annual family thing. The only drawback is that the nearest hospital is half hour away in case of a medical emergency but everything else is in town. The other thing is if the kids are very young (I have 2 and 5 yr old and I am overly cautious parent) , you will want to make the house as child proof to your comfort level. Which means barricading stair entrances and setting up the living room as a comfortable play area. But I see it as a wonderful family house once my kids are a bit older and I will continue to come back here every year. All the restaurants are the best. Park for the kids is wonderful. very nice and loving community feeling. Owner responded shortly after I told her the elctric kettle was not working and right away replaced it. I have nothing but nice words about this place. Everything was made easy by the owners.
We loved this property. Like stepping back in time staying at an older house - loads of character & charm. Bedrooms are all a good size & comfy beds as well. We liked it so much we'd like to plan another stay. Owners are so nice to deal with, always a quick response to any questions. Great location an easy walk to the shops & restaurants & we were able to enjoy the Farmers Market on Sat as well. A great time had by all!

La maison était propre et les hôtes prêts et disponobles pour nous recevoir. Notre hôtesse était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer le propriétaire qui s’est empressé de venir nous saluer! Somme toute, en endroit charmant, facile d’accès et très propre!
Family of 4, two young kids (2.5 and 5). We stayed for 7 days. Location was nice, walking distance to parks, shops in Wellington. About a 21min drive into Sandbanks outlet beach, which we did every day. Thank you!
Comfortable house where you can walk to everything in Wellington
My wife and I and our 20 year old daughter enjoyed our stay at this property. Very centrally located in Wellington; you can walk to everything in town. We brought our bikes and used the Millennium Trail quite a bit.
House has pretty much everything you need. It was good to have 2 bathrooms, and also the washer/dryer. Porch is large and has a BBQ and lots of space to sit. The road in front of this house can be a bit busy and noisy. The only other comment I would make about the house is that you have to be a bit careful exiting the upstairs bathroom. It opens up directly onto the stairs. Not a problem for someone with good mobility, but an older person might find it a bit unsettling.
