Wonderful stay, great for families

We had a wonderful stay here. Emily was incredibly kind and helpful. This was our first experience traveling with our 10 month old and she was very helpful and this place was perfect for our whole family. It is very clean. The location was convenient to get to downtown and the Zoo. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Omaha zoo trip!

Enjoyable stay in this comfortable, quiet well-equipped home

We came to Omaha from out of state to visit relatives and brought our dog along. This homey, spacious rental had everything we needed, in a quaint older neighborhood. It made the perfect home base to hang out with family. We especiallt enjoyed the large screened-in patio.

love this place! The open area to gather and eat in the kitchen, dining and living area works great to come visit grandparents in the area. this is our 3rd visit and the screened area is a wonderful bonus! My only wish is that it had one more bedroom full of bunkbeds because the grand kids keep on coming in our family and I hate to outgrow the place! Emily is the best at communicating! If you book this one you will not be disappointed!

Perfect!

Two dads and three hockey teens traveled from Colorado to Omaha for their annual hockey camp. Instead of doing hotel rooms this year, we lucked out and found this property. It was perfect for the boys to have their own space and the Dad‘s to also have a space to chill out after long days. All of our interactions with the owner were wonderful, quick and easy, and we couldn’t be happier. Hopefully we can stay here again next year, Thanks for being a great host!

Omaha Zoo

Nice stay. Easy to find, in a nice neighborhood, don’t let the industrial area you drive through scar you 😃 great host who communicated well with us. We booked it due to proximity to zoo and it all worked out great. The basement and enclosed patio were great bonuses that helped the grandkids unwind and play.

Great property! Was walkable to downtown Ralston. House was super clean and organized. It had everything we needed. Really appreciated the extras towels and linens. Host was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Sunset Sanctuary!

My family absolutely loved our stay at Emily's sunset sanctuary! Its a beautifully restored mid-century modern home with all the amenities, and plenty of space for family and friends to gather. Centrally located near downtown Ralston just off 72nd street and close to I-80, you can be anywhere in the Omaha area in 15-20 minutes. Fantastic outdoor space with the covered patio, lots of light, all in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again next time we're in town!

Zoo trip

This house was comfortable, in a quiet and quant neighborhood. There was a tabletop highchair for our granddaughter, that came in very handy. We will definitely recommend this place to others as well as use it again in the future.

Perfect location in Omaha

This place was close to everything we wanted to see while we visited Omaha. The house was very clean and plenty of space for my family and in-laws. Wonderful property! We were within walking distance of a pool that I took my two young children to. Everything was in this rental. Perfect place for our family!

Great Home

We stayed for 4 nights, there was a total of 8 of us. 4 adults, 2 toddlers, 2 infants. This place was PERFECT for us. Emily had baby toys, an extra pack and play, a highchair booster, a kennel for your dog, leashes, food and water dish. So many extra amenities! The porch made a great play room for our toddlers! The downstairs was nice too but we hardly used it. Rooms were nice, beds were comfy, almost everything in the kitchen (no blender). Great location for the Zoo. Overall this is a great home for families. We highly recommend!!

I am Emily. I love design and thrifting and creating relaxing, stylish and tranquil spaces. I fell in love with the Sunset Sanctuary house because of the warm paneled vaulted ceilings and the amazing screened in porch. I decorated it with the intention of it being a great place to relax with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

his house is located in one of the older areas of Ralston right near what used to be Seymour Lake. There are cool unique homes around it and large mature trees. This house has the neatest mid century / cabin vibe and is decorated to honor the mid century / cabin feel.

I grew up in Ralston and while I don't live there anymore it still has my heart. I find it to be the perfect location in the Omaha metro as its just a few minutes from the interstate and you can get almost anywhere in the metro area fairly quick..

What makes this property unique

The screened in porch is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the yard and outside while not getting bit by bugs!

Lots of driveway space if you are travelling and need RV or extra parking that is off street.
