I have to say, this was one of the most well maintained and stocked homes ive stayed in. We stayed with multiple couples and a dog; we had a ball! The place was clean, amenities were great and again, so well stocked. I always bring my own things (cleaning supplies and or laundry supplies etc) and there was no need to. I was sp surprised to see this. The host was super responsive and we really appreciated them. Will come back again!
The home was perfect. It was nice having items such as shampoo/conditioner/sugar/spices available in case we forgot our own. The home was spotless and inviting. Communication with the host was easy and she was quick to respond. We look forward to staying again in the future!
This home was a fantastic find. It met our needs and exceeded them as well. I will look into booking this home again in the future. Lots of care was taken by this homeowner and it shows.
This house is amazing. Along with all the bedrooms to accommodate my extended family we also had plenty of space to retreat when needing quiet time. Everything was perfect. Lots of family memories we're made here.

We had a wonderful week at the Revive. The house was perfect for our extended family of 10. The kids had a great time playing in the basement and we all had fun exploring the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is clean and comfortable and was able to accommodate a large group of 12. The game room kept the kids entertained while the adults enjoyed the screened in porch.

Very short distance to the slopes! Our host, Lamiae, was available when needed and made the check in/ check out process a breeze! We look forward to returning!

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our friends’ engagement and we had the perfect weekend. The house was large enough to accommodate everyone without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook most meals. Just a warning, the driveway is very steep and the drive to the house is a bit treacherous, but not unmanageable. We were able to fit 5 cars with no issues. Overall a fantastic stay and we’ll be back!

Grandparents gave a tandem sky dive to the grandkids, spouses, and kids. Basye was central for the group. The weather was uncooperative; We still had a great time with family and food.

We had an incredible stay at The Ravine. From the start, the property owners were extremely responsive and accommodating, making the entire booking and check-in process smooth and stress-free.The home itself was perfect for our group. The game room was a huge hit with the kids—plenty of activities to keep them entertained for hours. We spent our mornings on the screened-in porch, sipping coffee and taking in the peaceful surroundings, and returned there at night to enjoy drinks, games, and lots of laughter. The outdoor amenities added so much to our stay. The fire pit was ideal for making s’mores under the stars, the hot tub provided the perfect spot to relax after long days of exploring, and the trampoline was an absolute favorite with the children.Inside, the beds were very comfortable, and we all slept well after our busy days. The house was also in a great location—relatively close to Lake Laura and Pale Fire Brewery, both of which made for easy and enjoyable outings. What made this trip truly special was the chance to enjoy it with old friends while watching our children solidify friendships of their own. It’s the kind of place where treasured memories are made. Thank you!
My family and I met at this property as a middle meeting point between those of us that live in NC and those that live in NY. We very much enjoyed our time here and we did not want to leave!
The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We all loved playing in the game room and spending time relaxing on the beautiful screened in back porch. The home was well stocked with items needed for family meals and there was plenty of seating/room for games and movie watching!
We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. Lake Laura is right around the corner, and we enjoyed checking that out. The host, Lamiae, was very helpful, welcoming and responsive to any minor questions we had. We all would 100% recommend this property and host!

Wow! What a incredible review! Thank you very much, Jen! Would love to host you again.
We took our teenagers for a quick Spring Break adventure. They loved the game room. Everyone got their own room. The house was very, very clean. The amenities in the kitchen were excellent- spices, silverware, cooking sheets, etc. Large dining table for 8 was great for dinner and games! Trampoline and fire pit outside made for funny moments together. Kids enjoyed going to nearby Lake Laura- even in the cold! Roads are steep and twisty, but that is to be expected so close to Bryce. Beds were comfy and blankets were cozy. Nice to have 3 bathrooms with a full house of people! The owner was very responsive and polite with my questions. Recommend for sure!

It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your family. Welcome back anytime.
We enjoyed this house in the woods! The screened in porch was so nice. The grandkids loved the trampoline! The pacman game, pool table, air hockey and darts were also a hit. Loved having the firepit too.
The owner was very receptive and always responded to all my questions right away. She had someone come get our garbage in the middle of the week and took care of wasp nests that were near the front door.
The roads are very windy and the driveway is steep but that was expected in the mountains.
We took day trips to the VA Civil War Museum, Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Forest and Lake Laura. Just be aware that everything is a 45 minute to an hour drive. The owner did send us a message with places to visit.
I would recommend this house for a wonderful get away!

Thank you so much kathy! So glad your family enjoyed the stay. Yes, all the places you mentioned about are 45min, however, Lake Laura is about 10min from The Ravine :)
We’d love to host you again, welcome back anytime!
We picked this property because it was in a meeting spot halfway between our relatives. Also because it had a lot of activities conducive to teenagers. We had a great time playing with all of the arcades and darts and pool table AirHockey etc. and even build a fire and roast have s'more 's. There is also a trampoline! Wish we had known more about what was nearby in the area. This little get away is right next to a ski hill which was in operation, a golf course, some hiking, Caves in caverns, and history!
The owner has the kitchen fully stocked! We appreciated having spices, utensils and even Tupperware, dishes appliances etc. etc. that made our stay so easy💕
The driveway is very steep and add an odd angle. If people have a hard time driving and parking they should note that in the description. We are very happy with the accommodations. And, there are some extremely nice neighbors who came over to help jumpstart our car.

Thank you for staying with us. We’re glad you and your family had a good time and found the accommodations to be fun and convenient. Sorry you didn’t see the “Map” with the list of near by activities and distance from The-Ravine, we will be sure to reference the Map in our listing. We hope to see you guys back again soon.
Beautiful setting, great game room. Wonderful screened porch! Nice sofas in the living room, and generous seating is supplied. Hot tub is lovely. Nice big fridge, though the ice dispenser does not work. TERRIBLE climate control. The thermostat is programmed to constantly reset to 77. When the humidity is high, that's not comfortable. We constantly woke up in the night, sweating through the sheets, having to go turn the thermostat back down. Even when it managed to cool things down, the temperature difference between floors was huge: if people downstairs were comfortable, the upstairs folks were boiling. House is incredibly DARK, lacking both natural and artificial light. The front of the house faces a huge retaining wall, and there's not much anyone can do about that. But the interior lighting is pitiful in the kitchen and the living room. The living room has a single weak overhead light that I swear has only a nightlight bulb. It was so dark in there that the first night, I tripped and wiped out because I COULD NOT SEE THE FLOOR. I still have an impressive bruise on my hip. Don't plan to grill here. The grill was awful. You can cook on about 25% of the surface. And the dollar-store tongs can't pick up anything. Bring your own.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly glad you enjoyed the beautiful setting, game room, screened porch, and many of the amenities our home offers.
That said, we were quite surprised and disappointed to hear about your discomfort, especially since nothing was mentioned during your stay, we always encourage guests to reach out so we can address any issues in real time. Our guests comfort is incredibly important to us, and had we known, we would have gladly worked to make things right immediately.
Since reading your review, we’ve begun reviewing the climate control settings, lighting, and grilling equipment to see where improvements can be made. We appreciate the detailed feedback and are taking it seriously.
Wishing you all the best in your future travels.
This home away from home is just what we needed. Perfect for a family outing and so much to do. Fully furnished with just about anything you might need. 100% clean and our host was spot on with the needs of a family in mind. Nestled among nature with so much to do in surrounding towns and cities. Highly recommended for mountain lovers and adventurous people. Thank you for rounding out our year with your lovely home.
