Why they chose this property
***UPDATE: Our outdoor shower and indoor water system will be closed due to freezing conditions from December 1st until April when temperatures are consistently above freezing***
We offer our guests a unique lodging experience tucked into the corner of a five-acre homestead in rural New York .
The Shasta camper is located on 5 acre homestead . The property also has a cabin and Yurk Tent located on it as well.
The guest will have access to the whole 5 acres. Durning the week, the Camper and Tent could be rented at the same time.
What makes this property unique
Reserve the Shasta camper throughout the year! And if you are traveling with another couple, you may also want to book the fully equipped Yurk Tent or a 2 bdr Cabin, tucked into the woods around the corner. This listing is for a Shasta camper , that is not connected to the main house. There is power and WiFi in the Yurt. The water is turned off until April due to the cold weather. The toilets will work but the shower is not functionally. During the week, the Camper and Tent could be rented at the same time. A few additional glamping and private tent sites on the river may also be available. For more information, please email us.

Though we have made great efforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible, you must keep in mind that your stay with us still falls within the classification of "glamping" (glamorous camping). We recognize that not everyone is willing to embrace the "camping" aspect of a stay with us so we want to highlight them before you decide to book our yurt:
1. The Camper is heated by a Mini Split system . 2. The Camper and Yurt guests exclusively have access to the outhouse lavatory for all bathroom needs. We utilize a composting toilet in the outhouse, and guests must follow the posted instructions related to its use. 3. The outhouse is insulated in the walls and floor, but not heated. It can be cold in the winter. 4. The outdoor shower is only available for guest use during the warm months (approximately April through December , or when outdoor temperatures are consistently above freezing). 6. We have hot and cold running water in the yurt (May - October), but in the winter months potable water may be restricted to countertop coolers of cold water. Guests will need to boil water in the kettle for hot water needs.
