Lonesome Dove - Spacious Log Cabin on 8 Acres, Ample Outdoor Amenities
Lonesome Dove Lodge is a truly unique custom built cabin with 7-inch log exterior walls, nestled in the hill country on nearly 8 private acres. This property is perfect for couples looking for a fun bonding weekend or memorable family getaways. The first thing you'll notice is the tranquil Koi-filled pond with two waterfall features just off front porch. There is a walkway that leads you over the pond to a large deck under a canopy of shade trees, perfect for lounging in the afternoons.
Inside the cabin is an open kitchen and living room that features custom built birch cabinets and three hand made Tiffany-style chandeliers. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. There are three more bedrooms each offering a king size bed and one bedroom with a queen size bed. Every bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV.
Off the back of the house is a screened-in porch that makes a great place to sip your morning coffee bug-free. There is also a large patio with lounge furniture, a brand new hot tub, and a propane grill. The pool area is completely fenced and also has a nice pavilion offering shade while you watch others splash around in the pool.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES: Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. Luggage storage is unavailable while the home is being prepared for your arrival. We recommend making travel plans accordingly.
SELF CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: All reservations will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide Hills of Texas Lodging with a valid credit card to be placed on file for their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit or non-refundable damage waiver, a temporary hold of $500 will be placed on a credit card upon arrival for incidentals (just like they do at hotels). We are basically just verifying with your financial institution that sufficient funds are available in the event they were needed to cover property damage(s). If there are no property damages, the card will not be charged.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Everyone participating in the reservation must be over age 25 or if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
MAX OCCUPANCY: The maximum capacity for this home is 10 guests (including children). No visitors or day guests are allowed. Only the guests registered in this reservation are allowed onsite. If it is discovered that guests are over occupying the property, it will result in eviction.
PET POLICY: Pets are only allowed if they have been registered prior to your arrival. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed and a pet fee of $25.00 per pet, per night will be added to the reservation after approval. Non-registered pets are strictly forbidden and will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit.
