About this property
Ski/Mountain Bike Cabin, hot tub, amazing views, 6 acres
Relax at this cozy all-season mountain cabin just minutes from downtown Eden. Enjoy the hot tub, the 360-degree view, and stargazing in this internationally-designated Dark Sky Zone.
Winter: Three amazing ski resorts with the greatest snow on earth are less than 30 minutes away. Just up the road is the entrance to a snowmobile mecca. A cross-country ski and snowshoe park is 5 minutes away.
Summer: Boating, paddle boarding, and swimming at two beautiful mountain lakes. Hiking, biking, and fishing galore.
The space:
This used to be a 6-acre horse farm, so there are many rustic outbuildings. Feel free to explore the old barn or walk through the horse pasture behind the cabin. Keep an eye out for wildlife, and give them their space. Wild turkeys love to roam through the property. Deer and moose, bald eagles, osprey, owls, rabbit, raccoons, snakes, squirrels, weird looking bugs, and even the occasional cattle that figure out a new way through the neighbor's fence.
The hot tub feels so good after a day of skiing, boating, or hiking. It is serviced weekly and ready for you.
There are three rooms--each with a queen-size bed--a full kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
Being out in the country, we are on a septic tank system, so nothing but toilet paper can go into the toilet (a fine will be assessed if the septic system clogs during your stay).
Guest access
At the top of the driveway, turn left, drive around the shop building, and park in the guest parking at your cabin that sits in a small grove of oak trees. There is another cabin to the right (don't accidentally go into that one).
Other things to note:
A tenant lives with Kodi, their farm dog (might bark, never bites) in a second cabin on the east side of the 6-acre property.
Don't drive on the grass, it is currently being rejuvenated. Stay on the gravel driveway only. Skis/boards stay outside. Please use house slippers (provided) inside.

About the host
Hosted by Hasen
My wife Teri and I are restaurant owners that spend a lot of time traveling, skiing, and generally adventuring. We love our place in Eden/Liberty, and really enjoyed remodeling the cabin you're staying in so that you have modern design and amenities with a rustic farm feel.
Why they chose this property
We were drawn to the property because it is at the end of a rural road, no nearby neighbors, plenty of room to roam. But still within half an hour to some of the best skiing in the world. It's on a slight rise, so you can look out across the entire valley with unobstructed views. It's nestled up against the backside of the Wasatch Mountains, with famous Ben Lomond Peak greeting you every morning.
What makes this property unique
This amazing property has incredible 360-degree views, plenty of opportunity to see wildlife, is secluded yet close to all the skiing, boating, biking, hiking, or hunting you want. It once was an operating farm, so there are several rustic outbuildings like a large barn, a corral, chicken coop, tack shed, etc. My favorite thing to do is make a cup of coffee and walk around the peaceful property each morning, looking for deer, wild turkey, and rabbits, while watching the sun hit the oh-so-close mountain side and fill the valley.
