Beautiful, well-equipped house with fabulous views! The owner was very responsive and helpful and the hot tub was great. The location is a bit out of the way, so be prepared for that. Also note the bunk bedroom doesn’t have doors. We had a great stay!

Kathryn, thank you for the kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the views and the hot tub during your stay. Just to clarify for future guests, the bunk area is listed as a den/common space rather than one of the bedrooms, which is why it does not have a door. We appreciate you staying with us and would love to host you again anytime!
Great stay! Our third year in Taos and by far our favorite stay. Everything was great! A couple of small items that would have been helpful: Detailed instructions for using tvs. We were able to get one to work upstairs but it’s difficult when there are 3 remotes for each tv with zero instructions. The outside temps were unusual for sure but it would be helpful to have some information on how best to heat/cool the house using the thermostats…how long it takes cool down etc…we opened windows and it worked fine but hard to tell if turning down thermostats helped at all. Again minor things but would help in the future.

Hi Nathan! We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. We appreciate your feedback, and will be sure to update instructions for future guests. Thank you!
Nice quiet location close to Taos Ski Valley. We would stay their again. We did need to make contact with the owner as their was a dead battery in a smoke alarm and gfi outlet in the downstairs bathroom did not work.

Hi Brett - So glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry about the inconveniences. Both of these issues are fixed. Thank you.
Really nice and comfortable house, everyone had lots of room to spread out and walking the grounds was wonderful. LOVE the floor heating and the hot tub-such a luxury in winter and especially after skiing. Secluded and scenic and still very close to Taos ski valley.
On the last two days there was a slight sulfur smell coming from the laundry closet, not uncomfortable but something maybe to check.
Thank you so much, we loved our stay.

We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We will be sure to check on the sulfur smell from the laundry closet and resolve that issue. Thank you!
The house was very charming; we loved all of the southwest style decorations and it had a very cozy vibe to it. The hot tub was wonderful at night and we enjoyed seeing all the stars without any light pollution. It was the perfect mountain location; very close to Taos Ski Valley for summer hiking and riding the chair lift, and fairly close to Taos as well. The house was well stocked and we appreciated the board games in the pantry closet. Being from Chicago were it is hot and humid at night in the summer, I was a bit worried about no air conditioning, but there was cool mountain air at night if you had the windows open and we slept very well. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. Note that in the summer a car is fine to go down the road leading to the house (we had rented an SUV, but we saw many local residents with cars), but in the winter you should definitely have 4 wheel drive. I highly recommend this property!!
