The apartment was quiet, private, cozy, spacious, clean and inviting, very conveniently located for our activities. The host were very understanding and accomodating, easy to communicate with. Access was well described and easy.
Loved our spot in Gaslamp. It was walking distance from everything and we all felt very safe being that the property was gated. Would definitely stay here again!
The unit was as described. Clean and well decorated! Great location with easy walking distance to tons of nightlife and also Petco Park.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back again!
we stayed for a work conference. Very clean with a quaint older charm. Definitely different than most places, I would say unique. The convention center was only a nine-minute walk.
This place is located in the heart of the gas lamp district. It is walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, Petco park, and the convention center. It was nice to have a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen instead of a hotel room. The hosts were great. They provided videos on how to locate and gain entry into the place. We were able to contact them via text. That acted as a concierge and provided wonderful recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The place also provides a parking pass which we didn't need. I would totally book them again if I was in San Diego.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Excellent location, at a very good price. But... you get what you pay for. First impression is a hole in ceiling around a fixture. The second thing you notice is a plate of ear plugs on the coffee table/ottoman, which is kind of ominous. Cleanliness is at question. There is a thin film of pink mildew on the shower curtain, if you put things on the floor in the bedrooms they get covered in dust bunnies. The beds are HORRIBLE. Basically a 4" slab of unsupportive foam on top of a mattress. You immediately compress it entirely when laying down. Your back will hate you. At night the "gift" of earplugs became apparent. One of the rooms has paper thin walls and you hear everything in the next apartment as if they were in the room next to you. The other room suffers super loud whooshing every time the toilets are flushed upstairs. The kitchen was clean, the refrigerator was clean. There was an iron, but no ironing board. You need three keypad codes to get into the place, a street gate, a shared exterior door and then your apartment door. The building door cant close from the outside when the lock is engaged, so it is left unlocked by guests. Cant do much about the sound issues probably, but the owner should put a little effort/investment into cleaning up the place to make it presentable. I really struggled to decide between poor and ok, and decided on ok because it was so cheap... lesson learned, you get what you pay for.
Family of 4 trip to Petco Park and Sea World. Unit was small but perfect for the 4 of us. It was nice to have a living room area, as well as a full kitchen and refrigerator. Check in process was fine - we received the gate/door codes as we were driving to San Diego, and they all worked great upon arrival. Parking pass and instructions were waiting in the unit for us, as communicated. Parking garage is within eyesight of the unit, not far at all. We walked to Petco Park easily with no concern, felt very safe with all the other fans around. Unit has a small convenience store in front, which we stopped at for drinks and snacks. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and blankets. Unit is downtown, but we were not bothered by any noise at all. We would definitely stay again.
