The well-equipped kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances, makes it easy to prepare your favorite meals. In the game room, challenge family and friends to foosball, pool, or darts, or simply relax on the cozy sofa and stream your favorite shows on one of the home's eight smart TVs. The oversized deck provides an ideal spot to enjoy a good book or your morning cup of coffee, while a gas heater keeps things cozy during outdoor gatherings around the picnic table.

For outdoor adventure, Wisp Resort is just six and a half miles away, with Deep Creek State Park nearby (6.5 miles) and Western Trails Horseback Riding (2.6 miles) offering even more fun. Whether it's summer or winter, there are plenty of activities to fill your days. In the evenings, gather around the firepit with your favorite drink and roast s'mores under the stars. After a day of adventure, retire to one of the five cozy bedrooms for a restful night's sleep.

We enjoyed our stay....it was a nice, private cabin. The upstairs bedroom was even nicer than the pictures :)The house does have sulfur water, and we are not used to the smell. We were short on TP and trash bags for our size group. There was no dish clothes and we didn't have enough washclothes, so we purchased a few things and made due.The hot tub was nice and we enjoyed the outside fire ring with logs.

Beautiful & Relaxing

We had a great stay. The master bed was firm and comfortable. The home was clean and there was tons on space. We particularly enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. We even roasted smores over the fire pit one night. Location was great.

Great family weekend

House is beautiful and situated on a fairly flat lawn that provided fun for the kids. We enjoyed several activities: hiking, alpaca farm, coaster rides. Rainy weather curtailed much of Sunday activities, but between raindrops we had soccer on the front yard and then indoor games. Well stocked kitchen and adequate bathroom supplies. We will go back.

Customer No Service

The house in general was nice. I arrived on Thursday before other guest on Friday and Saturday. Upon arrival I did a walk through and noticed a broken window in one of the bedrooms. I called custom service asap. No response from the "local team" after two calls. Made a third call, same day, because the water smelled like rotten egg/sewage and was not usable for shower, cooking or brushing teeth. No response. Friday morning made 2 more calls regarding both issues. My guest were in route. My wife called a plumber about the water at this point. On 3rd call on Friday, I was given the option to leave and receive a full refund, or they can try to locate another house for us to move to. I advise all my guest were in route, and I will speak with them once they arrive. The second house was not set up the same and would not work with sleeping arrangements. We ended up staying and buying a lot of bottled water and taking the advise of the plumber my wife spoke to. No one from the "local team" ever reached out or stopped by regarding the issues. My guest was trying to watch TV in a bedroom and noticed the TV was unplugged. Come to find out the TV was not usable due to the screen being broken. The people with me made the time great but the house definitely had its issues.

Birthday Weekend get away

It was a cozy birthday weekend with friends and family. The is located in a very quiet and beautiful area. The house had everything we needed and we had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. I highly recommend this house!

To start. The house was gorgeous and in a great location that's the only reason I didn't give it one star. We arrived on Thursday before the rest of the guess traveled in on Friday and Saturday, I did a walk through to check out the condition of the house. There was a broken window in a downstairs bedroom. I called custom service asap to info them. I was advised someone from the "local team" would reach out. I called twice, with no returned call. Then my wife noticed a rotten egg/sewage smell from the bathroom water. So we checked all the running water and it all smelled like rotten egg/sewage. The water didn't smell safe for cooking, bathing or even brushing our teeth. So i made a third call and was advised I would here from the "local team" asap. Friday morning still with no contact from the "local team" I called again. Again, still no returned call. At this point, my other guess were in route. I made a fourth call... At this point I was getting upset.. I was given the option to see if they could move us to a different location or leave and get a full refund. During all this, my mother called a plumber. As guest started to arrive, Friday afternoon into the evening. I received a call that they found new house about 5 miles away. After a few more guess arrive I spoke to them and the sleeping arrangements in the new house wouldn't work. So purchased a lot of bottled water to avoid moving. A guest also informed me of a broken TV in the second downstairs bedroom.

Deep creek stay

The house was great with the amenities such as large size beds, pool table, darts, fire pit. The gas grill was broken and we planned our meals around it. But the management company contacted use very quickly. The house could use some detail cleaned found dust and webs in corners, vents stain on ceiling from microwave. Overall the house meant our needs

Vacasa is not good

The hot tub was part of the reason we booked this cabin and it was half full with dirty water. We complained about it and they came the next day to fill up the tub but didn’t drain it or clean it so the hot tub was still full of gross green water that had discolored foam when you turned on the jets. The pool table was unusable due to the pool sticks not having any tips. As far as cleanliness there were dead ladybugs on the window sills and dust webs on the ceiling in the kitchen towards the stove. The microwave had a lot of dust on top of it with a couple dead ants. The door by the fridge going outside if the door was locked you could just shake the handle and the sliding door would unlock. I do not like to leave poor reviews but this was warranted. We wanted a partial refund due to the gross and unuseable hot tub and Vacasa would not oblige. I won’t be booking through anything Vacasa again and neither will my friends or family. They basically just brushed off all the issues associated with the property.

Beautiful House

We had an amazing time! Close to Wisp for skiing/snowboarding, close to Ledo pizza, close to the grocery store, etc. Great location, very private, and lots of space for people to sleep. Only thing I would say is double check the hot tub, many of my friends and I got hot tub folliculitis. Could have been too many chemicals or lack thereof.

Deep Creek is the best!

We love staying here but there are a few things that could make for a better stay. The ants are a huge problem. They are everywhere and they are pretty big. There were many dead ants in the house before we arrived and throughout our stay their were many many ants everywhere. It may be time to call an exterminator. The hvac controls are really wonky and made it challenging to maintain steady levels of cooling. We found the downstairs to be too cold and the upstairs not cold enough. The grill doesn't work and wasn't working last year either. Other than these items, we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful home but Terrible response to needs

The house is beautiful and the perfect size furnace. However, there were several issues. Nothing too huge that reminder visit but the after several calls to the Vacasa, customer service and several text, no one ever showed up to fix the issues that we were reporting. Why the issues were more of a nuisance than anything else it would have been nice to have a response from those who care for the property, the home definitely needs someone who is willing to actually clean and care for it

Overall a nice stay

The lock was problematic both at the time of unlocking and subsequent locking. When we checked in we saw that garbage bags were kept outside when it was explicitly mentioned not to do so. A nearby resident came to our door to tell us to dispose off the garbage bag properly. The booklet in the house made no mention of the code for the lock to the bin. We had to call the toll free number to get details. The towels at the property were of poor quality and white strands kept shredding from it. Other than these issues, the place was comfortable to stay. When we called up the toll free number a person came and took away the garbage. We eventually managed to figure out the unlocking and locking of the front door too.

Long weekend fun

This house was perfect for our 4 families with lots of small children. We especially enjoyed all of the games, toys, and space in the yard. Every thing we didn’t think to bring was already in the kitchen so we could truly enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend!

A few issues but overall enjoyed our stay

The house wasn't as clean as I hoped it would be. There were lots of places with cobwebs indoors and mildew in the showers. We had a few issues that were resolved the next day but when we got there the a/c didn't work, there main owner's toilet didn't work, the main level tv didn't work. There information book given could have been more helpful. Like the spa key is hidden behind the fly swatter on unlabeled on a hook on the fridge.

Awesome Stay!

Our family spent Christmas at The Lake House and it was absolutely awesome! Not only was it beautiful, cozy and inviting, it is also very spacious, well furnished, and stocked with everything imaginable for a comfortable stay for both adults and children. The incredibly well stocked kitchen provided everything needed for us to prepare and serve an amazing Christmas dinner for our extended family! We will definitely stay again!
