I enjoyed every aspect of this location. You can tell immediately that the hosts have gone out of their way to create a fun and cozy vacation spot. They are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
I stay in many VRBOs. You can always tell when the homeowner cares about making the home comfortable, welcoming, beautifully decorated and a well stocked kitchen for themselves and guests. This is one of those special places on so many levels.
We loved our time at the house. The view were beautiful and there were so many cute touches from the host. We weren’t able to check in right at 4 as the cleaners will still there but other then that it was a great experience.
The house is beautiful with amazing views and sunsets.
Everything was fabulous. We enjoyed the Hot Tub and sauna. The views are amazing. We will definitely be back!
The home is beautiful with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are endless activities to do on the peninsula and it is a great starting point. We will be back!
The cabin was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and the hot tub & stunning view was fabulous. The beach access was incredibly beautiful! I highly recommended this cabin retreat and hope to visit here again someday. So lovely, I miss it. ❤️
Gorgeous home with every possible amenity you’d ever want. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Gorgeous views. Quiet. Spacious. Will happily stay again.
My husband and I spent 3 nights in Port Townsend and were thrilled with the house. It was clean, comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and so many extras! The host thought of everything. There were binoculars to enjoy incredible views of the water and helped us spot bald eagles & seals. The fireplace, sauna, hot tub and game room all added extra fun and relaxation to our stay. We can’t wait to book again.
Our group really enjoyed hanging out in the dining room for breakfast in the morning and late evening during our getaway. We loved the kayaks (but good idea to get out early before the waters get rough). One friend swam in Discovery Bay, braving the chilly waters. The hot tub was a great way to warm up after our on-water adventures. Super lovely!
The natural beauty, seals and beach were the best! The house had it all. The sauna, hot tub and kayaks were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we had such a good time cooking and being together. The beds were super comfortable.
Communication with Virginia was prompt and easy.
Thank you for sharing this lovely home.
Beautiful setting! We spent most of our time at the kitchen table visiting, playing cards, sipping wine while enjoying the breathtaking view. The home was equipped with any essential one might have needed, but forgot to pack. The comfort of the home made for a most relaxing weekend.
This is the best cabin for us. Rented it for Christmas 2025 for 5 nights. Things we want to list here for those who are still hesitant:1. Kitchen is fully equipped: including a kettle, even ceramic pots (we used for cooking in the oven), coffee grounder, coffee maker, even beans. All the cooking wear, and a filter pot.2. We used the grill outside for sausages. Worked great for us3. Little gifts were waiting for us in the kitchen and in theatre room 4. Everything is available in the house including feminine care, first aid kits, enough wood and fire starters5. Hot tub has a gorgeous view in the discovery bay. Plastic glasses are available as well as spare flip flops, towels and everything you need, when a little Bluetooth speaker which you bag use inside the sauna6. Sauna worked pretty as well and is located right nearby hot tub7. Beach access: 1 min by foot. You will find plenty of white shells We even found a couple of oysters and 1 beautiful moon snail shell. The place is gorgeous both during low and high tide which schedule was considerately shared by Virginia with us8. By the time of our arrival - a beautiful Christmas tree was decorated in the dining area 9. Theatre room - amazing and equipped with a popcorn machine as well as popcorn supply. We streamed our movies using a screen mirror function but Netflix , Apple TV etc are also available 10. Gameroom. Played there as well. There is mortal combat, pac man and some arcade simple game. Air hockey……
Found this property while looking for a place to stay while visiting a family member. Saw the game room and views and was SOLD!
Very spacious and comfortable house with all of the amenities for young and old. The kids LOVED the book selection, the game room, the beach and the ROKU selection. Us adults loved the open space, the views and the many ways to keep the kids entertained and out of our hair!
The house itself is very tidy with everything you need for cooking, eating and just hanging out in general.
Temperature controls are obvious and easy to manage. And, the beds and bedding were quite lovely!
Definitely an A+ rental to be visited again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Discovery Bay Lookout! It’s clear a lot of care and thought went into the details of this house. The decor was so cozy and stylish and the kitchen had all the tools and appliances we have at home. Beds and furniture were comfy and the kids loved the game room. Bathrooms were clean and serviceable. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the fireplace which was so nice after spending the day outside.
The cabin was perfect for our family, but the real star was the location and that VIEW! You really can’t get a sense of it from the photos but the views are simply stellar. We spent a lot of time looking out over the water from the deck or the massive living room window seat. We saw lots of wildlife, including sea lions and bald eagles. The owner told us to come back in the spring and we might see orcas or humpbacks passing through the bay! The weather was a bit chilly, but we did manage to get down to the beach a couple of times. It’s very private and great beach combing. Be sure to check the tide schedule and go at low tide.
The cabin is a 10 minute drive to Port Townsend, an extremely charming Victorian seaport with lots of great shopping and restaurants. We were also a short drive to some fantastic hiking spots and spent a day visiting the Olympic National Park and Sol Duc Hot Springs.
This was a memorable trip for our family and we will definitely back. Thanks to the property hosts, who were so friendly and had great tips for the areas!
