Quaint, well appointed cabin in a quiet location. Both the futon and king bed slept comfortably, shower was hot with plenty of good towels. Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
This is a great little cabin. Very clean and great functionality. We didn’t stay long, but definitely enjoyed the time we had there. We would stay there again.
This place is great! I have stayed her before and will come again. Close enough to Clayton to get what you need yet far enough out to have amazing views of the mountains and the night sky. Comfy bed and full kitchen is great.
We came across this property and thought why not. Glad we did!!!! So peaceful and relaxing.

Not sure why you only gave 2 stars. Your review was very nice. Sorry we were booked the next night but 2 stars?
I've stayed here a few times now and its amazing every time. The attention to detail puts this property above the rest. Will continue to choose this place any time I stay in northern NM.

Cute and cozy! Had everything we needed for the weekend.
We came out here to Star gaze. This cabin is so cute. It’s very well decorated. They have everything you could possibly need and more. It was perfect for our short stay.

Thank you. Great guest. We would gladly host you again!
This was our second stay due to such a great experience the first time. They clearly care about their guests. Wish we could copy-paste this cabin and experience to other places on our roadtrips!
Our short stay at the Bear’s Den was most enjoyable. Everything you might need was provided in a meticulously maintained tiny house. We would definitely choose to stay here again when the opportunity arises.
We needed a last minute place for one night in Clayton and not only were we glad to find anything at all, we were pleasantly surprised to have such a cute and cozy place. Only downside was we couldn't stay longer.

We are so glad that you found us. You are terrific guests! We will gladly host you again.
The pictures are accurate, but somehow don’t do the cabin justice. It’s so nice, clean, comfortable, and the host was very communicative. We loved our stay there - in fact my husband said it might be his favorite VRBO/Airbnb yet. The extra details in the cabin were supposed thoughtful! Like snacks and water. My only regret was getting there late when we only booked one night on a road trip.

Description needs to be updated
We are an hour out in our electric car needing to charge ; counting on charging because it is in the description that an EV charger came w the house .
An hour out the host messages us that she is an RV host property and that there will be an RV plugged into the charger we needed and had counted on using .
If you are driving electric and need to charge just be aware it may not be available .
There are up to two RV spaces right next to the house that are rented to passing through RVs; so know there may be as many as 2 RVs parked next to the house, right outside.
The people in the RV for us we’re incredibly quiet ; but know your peace depends of the people in the RV(s).
She did offer for us to charge at her house which we are grateful for ! We really are !
Because she did we were able to fully charge overnight . Thank you so much for that
The house was so clean and I mean clean like I like clean. Her efforts are incredible ; she left so many snacks, the coffee bar is really nice . You can choose from a full pot of coffee or a Keurig. It’s wide open empty country very nice .
The description gives impression that you have 10 full acres w exception of other tiny house . The listing doesn’t say that 2 RV spaces are also rented at same time right outside .
First I'd like to take a moment to express my gratitude for their compassion. I was in my first car accident on my way up NM and knowing the light would be on for my extremely late arrival was very comforting. Upon arrival I didn't feel like I had been up for 24 hours anymore. As another comment says, the pictures some how don't do it justice. Hands down the best rental I've ever stayed in. The attention to detail is impeccable. I'd recommend this place not only to friends & family but your dentist, a stranger in the grocery line really anyone traveling to Northeast NM. I've already started planning for a trip come winter. Never thought I'd say this but I'd pick this over a resort any day even if I'm playing 2-3 hours away. Book here, don't even second guess it 🥰
