My daughter was moving from Richmond and this place was close to her existing apartment and provided a calm place for us after a day of packing or loading or cleaning. Conveniently located near a highway, cafes, etc, added to our experience. We highly recommend it.

Amazing getaway

This was my first Vrbo experience and couldn’t have been happier. The house is amazing! Perfect location to everything in downtown Richmond VA. Essence was an amazing host, very attentive and responded to all my questions. If I find myself needing to go to Richmond again I will definitely be staying here again!

The house was exactly as pictured on Vrbo, and Essence was very responsive when we had a problem with the heating. The house was quite cold downstairs (but comfortable for sleeping upstairs), which they were unable to fix during our stay, so we didn't spend much time in the house. However, it was comfortable and Essence is working on fixing the heat.

Fun city living w/historic charm!

It was fun to stay in a house that had historic charm but with fresh updates. The location worked great for us for the things we wanted to do in town. There was plenty of room to spread out. We appreciated how the upstairs bathroom was set up with the shower and toilet in a separate room from the double sink vanity. Essence was easy to communicate with and prompt when we needed new light bulbs for two side lamps that had burnt out bulbs. I would definitely stay here again!

As Advertised!

My friends and I had a great visit. Essence was an engaging and pleasant host to work with! When we checked-in, there was an issue with our entry code and after a quick call with Essence, she was able to fix the issue within minutes. The house was very clean, well stocked, and had great charm. The only downside to the property is the whole neighborhood is street parking with very limited parking options close to the house. I would book this house again.
