Amazing place!

The property and views are simply amazing. The contact with Annemarie was excellent and the information provided for the area was superb. It’s hard to add to the comments that others have already made - you will never get tired of the views! The house was spotlessly clean and is amazing inside and out. Such a quiet location you can properly relax and get away from it all.

Amazing - Wonderful

The house and the location were, as described, exceptional, in a positive sense. During the 2 weeks we were able to enjoy the house to the fullest and there are many beautiful places on the property that invite you to linger. We would have liked to have stayed longer. The view from the very well-maintained garden invites you to dream. Seen from the coast: even if the little paradise is a bit remote and difficult to reach, it's worth it. The two mountain villages opposite can be reached quickly and offer everything you need, including beautiful cultural and culinary offerings, which we were always happy to take advantage of. Contact with Annemarie Heidenhain was good and helpful when necessary. Thank you very much for the many tips and the easy accessibility. Our vacation in this place was very successful. Thank you very much for this beautiful place and greetings again

Back again at Las Mañanitas!

If you've found your way to this listing, you're likely looking for a villa in the mountains of Andalucia and not a city or oceanfront hotel. You can't go wrong with any of those options, but for my husband and I and our teenage kids, this is as idyllic as it gets--both the location (up roads that curve high above the white villages) and the villa itself. We stayed here eight years ago, after our first visit to the area fifteen years before that. We have just come home from our third trip, a week in June (sunny days; high of 80s, a sweet warmth at night). Obviously it is a special place for us. There are dozens of rentals you can choose from, but we will keep coming back to Las Mañanitas as long as it's available. It is even lovelier than the pictures show. Plenty to do all around....you can take days trips to the beach or Granada/Sevilla/Ronda etc....or you can just stay in this beloved mountain home, hike, explore, and pop fifteen minutes down to Competa for tapas. Everything is immaculate: there's a pretty pool, two modest bedrooms, a charming kitchen & living area & sunroom, but what really makes this villa stand out is the attention to detail in its decor, especially outdoors: potted plants and trees, Moroccan lamps and silver trays, Spanish tiles and twinkling lights...sit in the hammock or in the sun looking out to sea or down some secretive steps to a tiny courtyard among the almond trees...The owners love their home and want to share it! We'll be back soon!

Un lugar verdaderamente inspirador donde desconectar del bullicio de la ciudad. Con unas vistas impresionantes, perfectas para relajarse con una taza de café, nuestra estancia en familia ha sido maravillosa. Hemos disfrutado tanto del mar como de la montaña y hemos encontrado en la casa un interior con una decoración muy agradable e inspiradora. Cada estancia está cuidada con detalle, haciéndonos sentir como en nuestro propio hogar: cómodos, tranquilos y rodeados de buenas energías.Un lugar muy recomendable para pasar unos días de relax en familia.Muchas gracias, Annemarie, por compartir tu casa con nosotros. Ruhe pur

Vom ersten Augenblick als wir das Tor geöffnet haben, bis zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir leider wieder gehen mussten, haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen! Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und Ruhe gefunden. Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und der Musik der Natur zuzuhören…. Ein wahrer Luxus! Die Ausstattung ist top und lässt keinen Wunsch unerfüllt. Wir kochen leidenschaftlich gern und das war in dieser Küche ein riesen Spass. Alles ist vorhanden und noch mehr….. und dazu der herrliche Pool für die Abkühlung! Und viele Wanderwege warten vor der Haustüre aber diese müssen noch warten auf ein anderes Mal. Während unserem Aufenthalt konnten wir den Vollmond genießen. Wir hatten wunderschöne drei Wochen im Mañanitas. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf Berge und kleine weiße Dörfer, bis hin zum Meer. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat perfekt funktioniert. Insgesamt verging die Zeit viel zu schnell!

Paradis med overraskelser

Selve eiendommen er praktfull. Helt usjenert og med fantastisk utsikt. Vi hadde alt vi trengte. Adkomstveien er mye brattere enn vi forestilte oss. Kjøp alt du trenger for minst en uke før du ankommer. Nøklen til inngangsporten virket ikke fra innsiden. To siste netter fikk jeg hundrevis av innsektbitt, mens min kone ikke fikk noen.

3 Wochen im Paradies....

Die 3 Wochen in "las mañanitas" haben unsere Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern noch übertroffen. Wir haben uns absolut wohlgefühlt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Garten, ein kleines Paradies, auch für unseren Hund 🐕 Der Kontakt mit Annemarie war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Bei evtl. Fragen war sie stets zur Stelle 🥰 Wir werden hoffentlich wiederkommen♥️

INDESCRIPTIBLE

Nos dejó con la boca abierta desde el primer momento. Una casa decorada al detalle, en un enclave único y con unas vistas espectaculares. No se puede pedir más. La casa cuenta con todo lo que necesitas para disfrutar sin preocuparte. No le falta de nada. Menaje de todo tipo y todas las comodidades. Quizás hemos echado de menos un microondas, pero nos acostumbramos enseguida. Nosotros hemos desconectado y disfrutado muchísimo. El pueblo está a unos 15 minutos (porque el camino es de curvas, pero te acostumbras) hemos bajado únicamente a comprar porque nuestro objetivo era descansar aislados de todo. Dispones de rutas para hacer caminando, corriendo o en bici con unas vistas espectaculares. Nuestros perritos disfrutaron muchísimo. Annemarie estuvo pendiente de nosotros y la comunicación fue súper. Gracias por dejarnos disfrutar de vuestro pequeño paraíso. Esperamos poder volver pronto ♥️🐾👫

Es gibt kaum schönere Orte

Wir haben 2 Wochen an diesem traumhaft schönen Platz verbringen dürfen. Das Haus ist ausgestattet mit allem was man nur benötigt, insbesondere die Küche hat einfach alles. Einmal die Woche kommen die Ziegen vorbei, man hört ihre Glocken läuten was für die Kinder ein Zeichen fürs rausrennen und begeisterte Freude war. Der Pool ist der perfekte Ort und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Wir sind bei Vollmond angereist, ein Nachthimmel den man in der Stadt nicht bekommt. In der Umgebung gibt es viele sehr schöne Lokale und auch so sehr viel zu sehen. Ich kann diesen Ort nur jedem empfehlen.

La casa es preciosa, perfects, llena de detalles que la hacen muy cómoda. La zona exterior y las vistas son maravillosas. Para nosotros la única pega es el acceso a la casa. Aunque es carretera de montaña y está en condiciones son muchas curvas. Eso nos ha limitado movernos mucho.

Beautiful house

This place is really special. The house is very comfortable and clean. The garden is spectacular with wonderful views of the valley and mountains and out to sea on clear days; we loved spending time on the veranda and in the pool. The kitchen is better stocked than any other rental property I’ve been in and it was a pleasure to make our meals there. Both bedrooms are lovely and of equal size. The house is tucked away and felt really isolated. You need to be a confident driver for the roads around there but it didn’t detract from the experience. We absolutely loved our stay, were very sad to leave and will certainly return.

Perfect vacation

We've had an amazing time in Andalusia, and the villa was a perfect retreat at a very beautiful spot, at the edge of a Natural Park, not too far from beautiful beaches, and all the cultural centers: Alhambra, Cordoba, Anteque ra. The villa is thoughtfully decorated, with a beatiful terrace and garden. Was perfect for our family of four, we've especially appreciated the possibility to play piano. The two bedrooms are communicating via a bathroom, you have to go through the first one to get into the second, but this hasn't disturbed us too much. The quietness of the place and views are unbelievable, the only thing we've missed was an extra week of vacation!

Fabulous villa in a stunning location

This villa give you everything you want and more - the quality of the home and its gardens are faultless. This is set in a totally private location, not overlooked at all - it is so quite and the views are breathtaking. The pool and outside areas are fantastic. Dealing with owners is easy and efficient. This rental is excellent value for money and one of the best we have ever stayed in over the last 18 years. We cant thank the owners enough. -We will be back.
