A great get away

If you're looking for a relaxing get away this is your cabin! Out in the woods, pet friendly with space to run, full kitchen, fire pit, nice selection of family friendly dvd's for rainy days, and hiking in a state park near by. We will be returning for sure and telling friends to check it out.

Private & pet friendly

PET FRIENDLY! Great secluded location. Short drive to either side of Pom de Terre state park. Also enjoyed the private cove. Cabin was clean, air conditioners work well, propane grill available, also had a very nice fire pit.

Absolutely loved staying at this property. Very roomy and comfortable. I had one small issue with a strange smell in the bathroom and the owner was very responsive to help resolve. The cabin is tucked away on a backroad, which I enjoyed because it was quiet and peaceful. I appreciated the fenced in area for my dogs to be able to go outside and not be concerned about them wandering off.

Perfect secluded getaway

My fiancé and I wanted a quick trip away from the city where we would be able to take our dogs and this place was perfect! The area is quiet and private and there is a lot of space surrounding the cabin to walk and enjoy nature. The cabin itself is super cute and has everything you need! The host was super responsive if we had a question and checking in and out was easy. We enjoyed unplugging for a few days and would definitely recommend this place to others.

40 Year Anniversary Stay

We had a great time staying at this cabin !!! Loved the peaceful area and having a fire pit to relax at almost every night while we were there. We explored the area while there and the grocery store was so very close. I brought most of my food with, but the store is definitely stocked so you could buy it all there. Liked having a dishwasher there. We would stay again.

Thank you for your review — we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin! The area is a quiet, close-knit community with many retired neighbors who enjoy getting around on their UTVs instead of cars. It’s part of the charm of being tucked away in the woods! We really appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to have you back again soon.
