About this property

Cozy Ardmore Cottage Main Level

Main level unit of a two apartment house located just minutes from downtown Winston-Salem, Baptist Hospital, & BB&T Field in the charming Ardmore neighborhood. Easy access to both 40 & 421.
Built in 1945, and updated to provide comfort, security, & character, the open floor-plan is perfect for relaxing & connecting.
Whether you are staying for one night or a month, this house will make you feel right at home. The light, colorful decor & natural light encourages good times & great possibilities.

An almost 1450 sq feet main level apartment (including screened back porch) with a shared basment laundry (there is a separate basement apartment). There are parking spots on the main level driveway pad with a slight ramp entrance, making the house easy to maneuver for people with mobility issues. The sun room has a door that allows for additional privacy and another sleeping or entertaining area. The basement contains a washer and dryer located in a shared space, a separate 1 bedroom unit, and access to the large fenced back yard. There is a door with a deadbolt lock at the top of the stairs to the basement to close off the shared space.

This main level unit is set up for an individual, a couple, a small group of friends, or a family. There is plenty of room for everyone.

You will be sent a front door access code that will remain valid through your entire stay. You will be provided the Wifi password and all pertinent information upon entering the house. Should any emergencies or issues arise, you will contact the local property manager. Checkout is easy and fast.

Ardmore embodies the history and culture of Winston-Salem. The neighborhood was born in the 1940's and has become a cherished part of the city's culture and character. The houses are eclectic and historic.

The neighborhood, in general, has a very high walk-ability score. We are located in an area that is home to many medical students and families and the sidewalk is located on the other side of the street. There are restaurants and grocery stores withing a 3 minute drive. If you are headed to downtown, the ballpark, or West End, you will want to drive. We are to the edge of the neighborhood and are more suited to people with some sort of transportation.

Please try and be courteous to your downstairs neighbors; keep the noise levels at a minimum and observe Quiet Hours between 10:30 PM and 8:00 AM. Please do not let children jump and run on the hard wood floors as this could disturb the downstairs guests.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Likely a scam

We received an email from the property manager with our supposed access code for the door and it did not work. I tried to contact them through the Vrbo app and email and received no response. I contacted Vrbo and they attempted to contact the owner, and they also received no response. Thankfully, Vrbo put us up in a hotel because we were in a city we have never been to before. Other than putting us up in the hotel, the Vrbo customer service was subpar and they kept hanging up on me. I will likely not be using this app for any further reservations. The funniest part is I continued to receive daily emails from the supposed “property manager” asking how they could help.
