A great small clean cabin with a relaxing and quiet view over a body of water. Close to Lake Wappapella and restaurants, our favorite was Don &MJ’s Bar and Lounge.

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. The deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee and family dinner. Owner was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly. We will likely stay again because we come out this way at least once a year!

The house is adorable and well stocked. We had two families stay for two nights and throughly enjoyed fishing and the little boat and the hot tub and deck. We rented a pontoon boat and were only a few minutes from the marina. This property is so well maintained and perfectly secluded. We loved it so much and cant wait to come back this fall - alreadychecking our calendars. Thanks so much!

Great Place for a Weekend Away

Loved the property and the amenities offered. Close to town, but far enough away with a small body of water to feel as if you are getting away. Would stay here again.

Cozy hideaway.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything you could need is available here. It was a little tricky finding, but once you see the little blue signs, Camp Bluegill, at each turn you follow the winding gravel road to the cute house. Great decks looking out to the water is where we had our morning coffee watching for fish to jump.

Great getaway!

Great place to relax & have fun. Clean, comfortable beds, TV in every room, well stocked for meal prep, bathrobes are even provided, Kids especially enjoyed the paddle boat & fire pit. Relaxing in the hot tub was icing on the cake and peaceful to sit by the pond. Host was accommodating & friendly with easy check in. Recommend for couples or families.

Amazing stay!

This property was absolutely fantastic! The house was warm and smelled good when we first arrived. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The host was very friendly and welcoming, and responded promptly to our questions! My boyfriend and I have gone several places for our anniversary, but this was our favorite by far! We look forward to coming back in the future!

Birdwatching 2024

The property was secluded enough to be private. We loved the deck that overlooked the small lake. Very clean, all the necessary kitchen equipment and comfortable beds and baths, and living room area. Myself and two friends were there to birdwatch for several days in the area (Mingo Wildlife Refuge and Otter Slough State Conservation Area).

Cute House with Hot Tub & Pond

Cute house near Lake Wappapello! Not too far from the Ozarks region/Ozark National Scenic Riverways as well, we drove about 1.5-2 hours to check out some spots over there. The house was clean and had everything needed. The deck overlooking the little pond was nice and enjoyed eating lunch out there. By far our favorite part was the hot tub, which we enjoyed both nights we were there and it was perfect. The string lights overhead were a nice added touch.

Nice, clean home in Lake Wappapello

Nice, clean home. Very quiet! Great for relaxing, plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy the lake view! We went to People’s Beach and Allison Cove to swim, it was great! Good places to eat in town as well! Owner was very communicative and quick to respond. Home was very clean with everything we needed, even ice!

Camp Bluegill is a beautiful place!

We enjoyed our relaxing stay at Camp Bluegill. The host was very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. There is so much to do on the property if you are outdoors people. If you prefer to stay inside this is also a great place for you. The view itself is beautiful. The home is cozy and has all the amenities to enjoy an indoor stay as well. The beds are comfy, and I would like to know what kind of sheets they use because they are amazing. Thanks again for everything. Camp Bluegill is beautiful!

Wonderful Spot

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay! The host was so easy to communicate with and was incredibly helpful. The house was beautiful, clean and had many amenities. The hot tub and lake were a hit with our children. My husband and I enjoyed the view out the master bedroom window each morning. Thank you! We hope to stay again soon!
