The open areas of this cabin extend onto the large expansive upper and lower decks, perfect for outdoor dining or simply relaxing as the clouds roll by.







Carter's Lake Overlook is located in a very remote, heavily wooded gated community 20 minutes outside of Ellijay. During that drive, you will find fantastic country scenery to pass the miles to downtown Ellijay.



On the square, you'll find wonderful stops! From pottery to cigar bars, fine dining, bagel and coffee shops, and everything in between!

DOGS ONLY Guests are responsible for any damages that result from pets. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Any delays in housekeeping because of pet hair on furniture, Guests agree to pay an additional housekeeping fee of a minimum of $25 with a maximum of $250.00 . Any pet hair found in hot tub or filter will result in a minimum charge of $100. This fee is non refundable.



Carter's Lake Overlook is a Large Lodge  with a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom log home that can sleep up to eight (10) guests and offers the following:

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1 washcloth per person listed on the guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll of paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.







Required Fees include a $320 Cleaning Fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and 15% lodging tax
