We chose this property because the pools were large and freeform. However it was frustrating that it was impossible to get a pool chair if arriving at the pool after 10 AM. Too many guests, too little space and too few chairs. The pool was also, judging from the crumbling bottom, close to needing a complete overhaul. Also, deeply frustrating and concerning was a notification that came after our complete, non-refundable payment for the room, which indicated that potentially very loud, disruptive work would begin on the property during our stay. I had actually inquired about this ahead of time, having seen some online warnings about other properties, but nobody would commit themselves to an answer.

We understand how frustrating it can be to have limited pool seating during peak hours, especially at a popular resort with large pool areas such as this one and we regret that you had trouble securing a spot. Regarding the maintenance notification, resort projects and improvement schedules are managed directly by the property, and unfortunately advance details are not always finalized or available at the time guests inquire. We did not receive any communications prior to, during, or after your stay regarding noise complaints or construction impacts, so can assume this was not disruptive to your stay. Additionally, our listing states that any variance or disruption, including but not limited to renovation, unavailable amenities, or changes in decor—whether announced prior to reservation, occurring during the stay, or announced after confirmation—is a matter strictly between the guest and the resort and is not considered deceptive advertising, a breach of contract, or the responsibility of Concierge Realty. We truly appreciate you choosing this property and are glad you still had an overall 5-star experience.
