We had a great stay at Rockstar Ridge. The house is in a beautiful setting with wonderful views, and there was plenty of space for our family. The decks were a particular highlight, and the location was great for exploring the Blue Ridge area. We really enjoyed our time there and would happily recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing mountain getaway. Thanks again for having us!

Fun Family Spring Break Getaway

We had two families (with kids ages 6-10) stay at this property over Spring Break. The house is one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever been to! There was plenty of space for everyone to relax or spend time together. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor activities and thought the location was great for our group. We would recommend this property to others and would definitely come back.

Great family getaway!

Lovely house, great amenities and comfortable house for our family! Plenty of space to enjoy together and love the pool table and game room. We appreciated the extra thought that is put into convenience, with charging plugs by the beds and nightlights around the halls. We loved the extra touch of having a Christmas tree up, and it helped enhance our New Years' trip!

A Perfect Mountain Getaway!

Our stay at this Wintergreen Resort home was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, cozy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing escape.The hosts were fantastic—responsive, kind, and clearly put a lot of love into making this home a special retreat. Great Property!

Great property in the Wintergreen Resort. Everything was as described/pictured in the listing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The views from the deck were beautiful. Plenty of comfortable seating areas on each level. Owners even supplied plenty of wood for the two fireplaces, which we used and thoroughly enjoyed. In my opinion there isn't a thing about this property that needs improvement!

Amazing cabin

This cabin as everything you need to have a wonderful vacation from paper products, spices, to wood!!! Lots of warm blankets to snuggle in front of the fireplaces (2) and lots of fun playing pool or relaxing in the hot tub... It was bitter cold and windy but we had the best time doing the Nelson 151 winerys and relaxing in the evenings. The cabin had the most linens and other items you need, we have never seen so many extras!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience for our 50th wedding anniversary vacation.

Great Stay at Rockstar Ridge!

My husband and our four kids enjoyed an awesome weekend at Rockstar Ridge. The house was great and had lots of space to hang out. The pool table and arcade were a huge hit with our kids. The house was clean and well maintained. It was a quick drive (5 minutes max) to The Plunge and the skiing areas. The entry with the mudroom was perfect for coming in from a fun filled day of tubing and skiing. We had the best time and would definitely recommend this property!

Lovely mountain home with plenty of room for our family of 10. Loved all the outside decks and seating and the little screened in porch. The grill was nice but not very clean when we used it. The kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs den was wonderful as well as the game area and hot tub downstairs. The parking area was a challenge though. We had 4 cars which was the max, but it was really hard to get in and out. Overall a really nice vacation home. Owners were responsive the 2 times we had to text.

Spectacular mountain experience

Beautiful, restful place. Views are stunning. Great proximity to hiking trails. The house interior was immaculate. We could immediately relax because of how comfortable, well taken care of, tastefully decorated, and clean the place was. I swooned over the organization and labelling of linens and kitchen supplies. There was tons of space for everyone to be able to relax and be comfortable but not be on top of each other all the time. Tons of great elements to engage young kids. I wish this were the house I could book wherever I travel!

If you are looking for the perfect place to gather as a family (or friends)! Everyone can be together at times - and have their private space at times - this is it! The house is beautiful and the views are exquisite. It is very well appointed with even more than similar properties in the area that we've visited (for example, a thermometer for cooking). The pool table and equipment were well-kept, and included two junior pool sticks for smaller children (a wonderful touch). Wifi is superb - which is a must in this area - if you wish to receive emails or make calls. The extra blankets were nice. The hot-tub worked very well and had a gorgeous view. We loved all three levels. Each provided exactly the right amount of perfect. One room to play; one room to gather and cook and be together; the other a nice respite from a long day. What is also very important -- everything worked! The grill had a full gas tank, the disposal did its job, the ice machine (another nice touch) worked to perfection. You can tell the hosts really care about making this a comfortable and welcoming environment for their guests. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the hosts was outstanding. We could not recommend this place more. We fell in love with the pictures - and our experience here exceeded our expectations! It is also a 5 minute drive to the blue ridge overlook (a must for pics) and right near a trailhead. We have stayed at Wintergreen almost a dozen times, this place was the best!
