We stayed here for February and March and, after seven years of renting through VRBO, this was one of our best stays. The home is in a charming, quiet neighborhood and was spotless on arrival. The kitchen was the best stocked we’ve ever had, and the beds were very comfortable. We also loved the large backyard with multiple seating areas.Communication with the host was excellent throughout. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked again for next year!Thank you Paul & Barbara for sharing your home.
Beautiful skies in the evening both in the back yard and front
The front yard was pretty with the California poppies in bloom
Sunset view from the front yard.

Mid-March to Mid-April stay

Barbie and Paul were excellent hosts. The property was very clean and well equipped for my stay and short visit with my family. The location in a well established Green Valley neighborhood was perfect.

Nice quiet neighborhood

Paul and Barbie were very attentive hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions. It is an older home but well kept up. The patio is large and private and the neighborhood is quiet. We had everything we needed to cook meals. We were there for a month and enjoyed walking the De Anza trail which is just a few blocks away.

Holly, thank you for the opportunity to host your stay. And thank you for the nice review. We inspected our property and were very pleased with how nice and clean the place looked. Thank you for taking such good care of our property and the suggestion note you left for items needed in the kitchen. We will continue to look for ways to improve and make our guests as comfortable and happy as possible. We look forward to hosting your stay again! Paul & Barbie

Two Month stay at Mariposa House

We had a very comfortable two month stay at Mariposa House. Barbie and Paul have created a welcoming home away from home. It had everything as promised and well stocked with anything you might need. We slept great on the comfortable beds and enjoyed the back patio space with all the bird songs and activity. The house is conveniently located near shopping and Green Valley Village. The neighborhood is lovely and great for walking. We accessed the Anza Trail only two blocks away. Check in/out was easy and seamless. Barbie and Paul are warm, personable and caring hosts. The communications were excellent and they were always quick to respond. Terrific people!

We appreciate your positive feedback Becky and Dave! So glad that we could accommodate your stay and make you feel comfortable and at home away from home. It truly was a pleasure meeting you both. Since you were our very first guests you helped us see that this is a great and fun endeavor. You are the ideal guests—you left our home so tidy and spotless! We would be ecstatic to host your stay again in the near future. Thank you! Paul & Barbie

2 month rental in Green Valley

We enjoyed out stay in Arizona. The home was a good choice for us. Excellent location with easy access to interstate and shopping. Suggestions for improvements: Tile in the kitchen/baths/utility was extremely slippery especially when wet. The ceramic tile needs a grit, or other method, so it's not so slippery. Floor mats on the tile are a tripping hazard. Area rugs on rugs are a tripping hazard. Front door bottom needs to be trimmed so the door swings more easily and doesn't discolor carpet. WiFi was reliable, but very slow and occasionally would drop out completely. We enjoyed the covered back porch and yard privacy.
