The cabin was clean and comfortable and offered amazing views and privacy. The kitchen cabinets and drawers and all the light switches were labeled, which cut down on hunting for the right ones. There were instructions posted for appliances and tubs. And the host gives his cell number in case of questions, and he answered ours very quickly. All in all an excellent experience.

Very clean place, host was super easy to contact with fast response time! The hot tub was clean! Beds and bathrooms were clean. Had all that would be needed to stay in and cook dinner, Walmart and door dash both deliver up there. Only thing I’d say would be if it’s gonna be snowing during your trip better take extra food and drink and water because the road to it would be hard to get off of in the snow! Overall 10/10 fantastic

We returned to this cabin for a second stay, having first stayed there in 2018. It was every bit as great this time as it was then! Photos on the VRBO site accurately represent the lovely, cozy decor. Everything was beautifully maintained. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed. Although we weren't "at home" all that much, there were a pool table, plenty of board games, movies, books, etc. to fill any down time. Nice large TV in the living room, plus smaller TVs in each bedroom. We made good use of the park-style charcoal grill and one evening ate supper out on the deck, enjoying the dreamy view. While the drive up to the cabin was certainly an adventure, we appreciated that the house is the last one on its road, so it was very peaceful with no through traffic. (That's why I gave it only 4 stars for convenience. We saw this as a plus, but others might not.) Communication with the hosts was great. Heartily recommend Tranquility Point!

Great view of the mountains. Very nice cabin, that has been well maintained and furnished. Easy drive into Gatlinburg and into the park. Highly recommended.

The cabin was very clean. It was located on a dead end of the road so very quiet and secluded. The views were fantastic. We enjoyed everything about the cabin. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. It was very secluded, yet not a far drive at all to Gatlinburg. The porch was so nice with beautiful views. We loved the hot tub and used it both in the mornings and evenings. Check in was no problem and it was ready at the time provided. The host always responded immediately to any questions. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

Thank you for the great review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, and the mountain views. The road does have incline, but in order to get the beautiful views you have to go up. We visit the cabin using our 2 wheel drive vehicle on a regular basis.

Great cabin in the mountains

It was a spacious and very clean cabin. The views were phenomenal every morning while drinking coffee on the wrap around porch. The drive to get up to the cabin is a little intimidating, but it’s all worth it when you get to your home away from home.

It is a fabulous cabin! We only came for a weekend but will surely be back. The view is breathtaking The cabin fully stocked and completely comfortable. Peaceful retreat

This is our 2nd time at Tranquillity Point and it is our favorite place to stay when we are in Gatlinburg. The mountain views are breath taking, the cabin is always clean, and we have always seen a bear everytime we have stayed there. Great place if you want peace and quiet. We love this place and look forward to many more stays. a bear everytime we have stayed there.

Weekend Trip

Tranquility Point was perfect!

With a few foot surgeries over past year it was time for a much needed vacation. I could not have picked a better place to stay! View was amazing! Perfect for morning coffee! Cabin was well stocked with supplies. I will definitely rent again in the future

We couldn’t be more impressed!

I searched for a very long time for the perfect cabin. I was unsure what to expect, but everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The cabin is clean, cozy, and has the most amazing views! Plenty of space for our family of 4. My teens loved the pool table and hot tub. I highly recommend this cabin!

We both enjoy country living and running after our kids and grandkids . We love to hike and enjoy the serenity of the cabin. We enjoy sharing all that the Smokies offer with our guests.

Why they chose this property

I love being close to town but far enough away to enjoy nature and quiet. Mountain View’s are fantastic. I also love supporting all the mom and pop shops in the area.

What makes this property unique

Our view and location at the end of a private drive is what I think makes our cabin special. I try to provide everything I can think of to make sure everyone who stays has all they may need to make their stay memorable.
