The house was wonderful with incredible views. Watching wildlife on the pool deck was very amusing. My only criticism about the property which really isn’t the property itself) is the road noise. Some of the scooters and motorcycles were extremely loud, especially at night. That one thing aside, the stay was wonderful!!

It is difficult to put into words how amazing this property is! For the benefit of people who just skim reviews, book it!! For those looking for a more detailed review, I will go on. First of all, Wendy the host is fantastic to work with. Communication is quick and detailed. The location is absolutely fantastic, 5min walk to the beach, and 5min or less drive to Sámara. You can certainly walk the beach to town as well, but we did not. The house itself is a dream! The views, the pool, the cleanliness, the amenities, all are perfect. If you are planning on booking with other couples, be sure to have a conversation about who gets the primary bedroom. Although all of the bedrooms have amazing views, the view from the primary is a step above the rest. The caretakers are amazing as well, quick to respond to questions. We will definitely be booking again!

We absolutely loved this house! One of our favorites VRBOs to date. Great pool, great view, comfy beds, beautiful landscaping. Walked to the beach and town everyday. Lots of great restaurants and beach bars close by. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent vacation property!

Casa Estiyul is a beautiful home with ocean views from most rooms. The house is well stocked and Flory - the caretaker - was excellent. The location is within walking distance of the beach although we chose to drive to 'downtown' Samara, which has more restaurants.

House was well organized and stocked. The walk to the beach is easy. Walking to town via the beach took us about 15 mins. The howlers & macaws came into the neighbors yard for the ripe mangos. Beautiful place.

Samara Sunsets

My wife and I stayed at Casa Estiyul with another couple during a recent trip to Samara as part of our first visit to Costa Rica. The property is as described, roomy and well appointed. The views from the pool and decks to the Pacific are spectacular. Wendy the owner communicated proactively and provided thorough check in instructions and other valuable info. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Amazing Property!

The house was beautiful with a great pool, deck and wonderful views of the bay. It was a short walk to the beach but part of it was on a busy road which was not ideal. We spent about 2-3 hours watching the howler monkeys from the deck which was surreal and very cool for us North Americans! Had wonderful meals at Hotel Bahia and El Ancla. Millipedes were in abundance! All in all, loved our time at Casa Estiyul!

Beautiful home…. Amazing pool

Loved the treehouse home with the infinity pool. Lots of stairs and an aggressive driveway but that is why the views are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked but updated spices and pantry supplies would help during stay. A house binder would be great in navigating home and area. A bigger bed in master would be awesome. Thanks for an amazing relaxing stay!

Florey was so kind and check in process was simple. communication with owner was timely and clear. Floor plan was wonderful but I would recommend getting a king size bed in the master upstairs suite. The kitchen had everything that was needed even though we always went on a short beach stroll to the many good beach restaurants. Beautiful home and wonderful care taker.

Spectacular home minutes from the beach

This is a truly stunning property. We could not believe the house interior. Three floors, gorgeous decks, comfortable furniture, all the amenities you could ask for. Perfect infinity pool. Absolutely lovely local caretakers that were so friendly and helpful. Wendy was easy to connect with. Great restaurant recommendations and even helped me find a computer repair place. We are so grateful for the stay!!

Wonderful open living, with nice master bedroom & bath on 3rd floor. The only thing missing was a hair dryer! The infinity pool was warm & delightful. We could walk to the beach, but not to the town without fear of being run over!! Angler Restaurant was the best! Jorge took care of our needs. He was great!! Wingnuts was down the street & provided an awesome zip line adventure for us! Great place & great location.

Family time in Samara at an amazing home

We absolutely love Casa Estiyul! This is our second stay in this home and it is amazing. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and town. The house is very clean and well stocked. The open kitchen, living, patio/pool space is perfect for family time. The views are spectacular. We had monkeys, beautiful birds, large iguanas to keep us company! Jorge and Flory, the caretakers are very responsive and helpful and the kindest people you will ever meet. And interacting with Wendy is always professional, helpful and friendly. Wonderful Property and Views

This was a wonderful property to base out of during our time in Samara. The house is far larger than the photos indicate. It is well maintained and clean. Communication with the property manager and owner was excellent and the property manager was very responsive. The pool area and views are spectacular. The pool area and flow into the kitchen / living area is incredible. You will likely want to drive to the beach since the walk is partially along a narrow and fairly busy road. It is a very easy drive and this statement is true of virtually all vacation rentals in the Samara. Overall, the house was simply wonderful and we greatly enjoyed out time there.

Wonderful family stay!

We loved our stay at this wonderful home. Jorge, the home's caretaker, is a kind person that is very welcoming. The location is just moments to Samara beach, but you also feel like you are in the jungle. There is a bit of road noise during the day, but this quiets down at night. The homeowner requires children to be a minimum age. That is totally understandable due to the railings and stairs. We enjoyed family time at the pool, the outdoor sitting area, and around the dining room table. Getting to watch a family of monkeys play around in the trees just off the porch was really special. It was perfect. I would totally book this location again if we get to make it back to Samara!
