This was the perfect place for a getaway. We went peach picking and enjoyed a top notch dinner at The Farmhouse at Veritas. The host was very nice and friendly and communicated well. We loved our stay and would come back!

This house was perfect for our party of 5 (plus one furry friend). The open floor plan was perfect for hanging out, the house was very clean, and the outdoor space was great for enjoying the afternoon sun. We loved the proximity to the wineries, breweries, and hiking. While the house is just off of 151, there was no traffic noise and the area is quiet and secluded. We have rented from Jamie and her team for several years and this was our favorite place so far!

The Cozy Cabin was a great place to stay. The house was clean, and cozy. We loved the firepit and enjoyed the slow mornings looking out at the mountains out front. The view was better than we anticipated! The cabin was great as we were traveling with kids, everyone felt comfortable. We enjoyed the slower pace, and put together some puzzles and played some games that were provided at the cabin. Overall this was a fantastic place for our family to say and enjoy, and we'd love to stay here again.

The cabin was immaculate! Beautifully decorated, so cozy and clean, great location. Loved all the details with check-in and the recommendations for local points of interest. Our friends with us commented on how we did an excellent job picking out this cabin. Would love to return!

This was our first visit to Nelson Cozy Cabin and it won’t be our last! The property owners were super responsive and helpful with any of our questions, the home was immaculately clean, it was pet friendly, and it had absolutely everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Best of all, it was centrally located to many local tourist attractions. We did our Nelson and greater Charlottesville area wineries and it was a perfect distance. We will be back! Thank you again!

Nelson Cozy Cabin was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for my husband and I and our dog and another couple. It was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The outdoor area with a fire pit was nice to come back to after being out and about exploring the area. Loved the decor of the place and had very comfortable beds and linens. Bed pillows could be updated, but that’s on us for not bringing our own (we are picky about our pillows).overall would highly recommend this spot and hope to return!!

Great Mountain Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Nelson Cozy Cabin. The property was spotless and was exactly as described and pictured. The furnishings were beautiful and there were numerous thoughtful details that we very much enjoyed. The management company was wonderful to work with as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely Spot

Very happy with the place. Met our needs completely. Bed was very comfortable - huge plus. Easily controlled thermostats in each room. Kitchen and laundry facilities perfect for our stay. Looking forward to a return visit.

Just as advertised! Wonderful location in the woods, yet right off of Nelson 151. Super cute, clean and neat. Close to wineries, breweries and hiking!

Ski getaway

The home was spotless and so comfy. Every detail was thought of in advance. I think maybe we were the very first to stay?! We fell in love with the cozy cabin and look forward to coming back again.

Very secluded

It was nice drinking coffee in the morning and enjoying the peaceful view outside! We only stayed one night to visit devils backbone brewery. After favorite 😍 for us. This house was only a few minute drive away.

Perfect for our family of 4. Property was nicely off the road and very quiet. Home appeared recently redone with nice fixtures and decor - Very, very clean and beds nice and comfy. Nice gas fireplace; would've liked couch and chairs to be a bit more comfortable for relaxing after busy day and watching TV. Only problem was unlocking door on our arrival, but owners quick to respond to call/text and resolve the issue. Would definitely stay here again!

Christmas getaway

This gem, is immaculately clean! I’m a clean freak and didn’t feel the need to clean and disinfect upon entering! Our family enjoyed the time spent together at this cabin. Our granddaughter said she had so much fun she didn’t want to leave. The coffee table in living area was perfect for family game time. Only suggestion I would make is adding a grill.
