Great Weekend Getaway!!

This was quaint little retreat felt like you were out in the country, yet it was just minutes away from the city. We loved the quietness and charm of this place. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was amazing. It feels secluded but you're close to everything. So clean and neat. In fact, we tried to check in early but was told the cleaning crew would be there until 4, which was fine. We walked in at 4 and the floors were still damp from mopping. I'm a bit OCD so this was a big plus for me. I loved the eclectic decor. I would've never thought mid-century modern and the style of bathroom would work together but they do! So cute! Speaking of the bathroom, the shower was 10/10. The ac units kept up great with the Oklahoma heat. I look forward to staying here again

Good weekend

We enjoyed our stay OKC and Modern Writer Nook. Great location and easy to get to and from places. Really did not feel like we were in the city while at the Modern Writer Nook with all the trees around. Quit neighborhood. It was a nice place to stay.

Adorable, quiet, relaxing stay

The house was adorable, such cute details! The whole neighborhood felt so peaceful and secluded and it was so nice to have a private drive/parking. Truly the place had everything you could need, full size kitchen, washer, tv, etc. check in was hassel free with the coded door. Highly recommend. Centrally located!

Lovely cottage for two

This was such a wonderful find. This cottage had everything we needed and it was in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Loved the decor that had a contemporary yet vintage feel. We will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in Oklahoma City.

The Writers Nook is located in safe & well established older neighborhood just North of the State Capital building. It is very nicely & thoughtfully appointed in a quiet & tranquil setting that very much enjoyed & would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little get away!

Such a cute unit! Updated amenities. Darling space…amazing southern windows with views of the country side. Highly recommend this place for a get away or rent the entire unit for a family gathering. Love this place, I would recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

Cute

We were only there for a quick over night, but this place is adorable! It was very easy to get to from I 44, a very quick drive. It had everything you could possibly need to use during your stay. The best part our 2 dogs were allowed and that meant the world to us. Would absolutely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

OKC training trip!

I loved my stay at the Writer’s Nook! It is in a safe area and the unit is very cozy. The furnishings are nice and I enjoyed the natural light in the rooms. The bed is super comfy! I could occasionally hear someone in the room upstairs, although it was not too bad. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was in good order. There were some items missing in the kitchen that we would have preferred to have. For instance there were no dish towels available or a bottle opener. Also, it didn't disturb our sleep much at all but it was pretty noisy upstairs. We could hear it quite a bit in the morning with our upstairs neighbors walking around. Other than that it was a beautiful place.
