We enjoyed our stay very much

Our family had a great time at the Rest N Relax Inn. The rooms were comfortable and we had plenty of space.

4 - Satisfactory

Rest N Relax inn was a great location and cabin feel. We fit 7 a dog comfortably. Only downside is cleanliness. Cabin had spiders webs, thick dust layers in bathrooms and in the ceiling. Aside from that, Cabin was Great!!!

Good location

At first the cabin seemed a bit creepy Because there’s a scary stairway that leads to the bedrooms. But we enjoyed our stay. Only complaint id have that maintenance should vacuum the carpet and couches because there was soo much dog hair. Even on some blankets in the bedroom.

10/10 Excellent

The cabin was spacious and it had everything we needed.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed the big dining table, comfortable couches, and a big and beautiful deck. There is two bedrooms on the bottom floor and one on the top, and a bathroom on each level. Moreover, the cabin has wi-fi, cable, a roku player, and it also has a DVD player. Since I love to grill, I was very happy that the place had a propane bbq on the deck. In addition, the cabin provided utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker, and great service. At one point, there was a knock on my door. It was one of their employees, he had a big propane tank on his hands, he thought it was for us. I guess a different cabin ran out of propane and they were delivering a full tank to them. Great service! Overall, it was a great place to stay in, and I would definitely request Cool Cabins services once I decide to go back to Big Bear.

Bad Recommendation

This is a very bad stay. First with the check in, I had to call it in at 4 as they were supposed to give me the code. I was out on hold as the code was not programmed yet. Secondly, this place NERDS a major upgrade. The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced, it could be too hot, watch out!! WiFi didn’t work, fridge is close to the stove which you could get a burn! Overall from cleanliness to presentation on the website, it is a very. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! For the $ Inpaid, it is not even worth a penny of a stay!!!

Older Cabin Could Use Upgrade

The cabin was O.K. but needs some upgrades and some work. My wife felt is was not the cleanest place and that the cleaning crews miss many places. Dust, spider webs, etc. Also, the screen on the fireplace needs replacing, the downstairs rooms were very cold. it would have been helpful to have portable heaters in the 2 downstairs rooms. That would have helped. The pots and pans from past guests were not cleaned very well. There was NO eating utensils, other than 1 large stirring spoon. The microwave is also very old and could be replaced. Overall, we would give this cabin a C+ grade. The Wifi was good and the Cool Cabins people were very responsive to our text messages. Thank you, Ray Martin

2/10 Terrible

Disappointed ☹️

Very disappointing. Carpets were dirty and ripped, causing a tripping hazard. Heating system was terrible. Roku was from the year one, so only Netflix. Called and complained and owner bought a new one and sent it up, that was nice. The rental office Cool Cabins is horrible. They are rude girls who can’t understand a simple question.

Good View

We stayed at the cabin in the Spring. Overall the cabin is very dark. The wood on the deck needs maintenance. The stain and paint are missing from many of the deck slabs to protect the wood from water damage. The view is great however and the length of the deck fantastic. I wish coffee filters were provided by the cabin as there is a coffee machine. The downstairs of the cabin gets cold compared to the top floor. The downstairs heater distributes heat directly into the hallway rather than filling up the bedrooms with heat. I wish there were better instructions for how to use all of the remotes to turn on the tv and the tv audio.

6/10 Okay

nice cabin

cabin was nice and clean for the 5 adults and two dogs we had. There is no air conditioning so its hot although the big ceiling fan in the living room helped a lot and leaving the front and back door open created a nice breeze. There are a lot of stairs and the fenced yard is really not dog friendly due to it being on the side of a hill and overgrown so they couldn't really use much of it. The view from the deck was beautiful but it gets hot so the dogs and humans couldn't walk bare foot during the heat of the day. There were lots of board games to use if so desired and the TV had Netflicks.
