This lake does have Mayflies that hatch early spring and they may land on the house/cars. They are HARMLESS. Please do not book if this may upset you.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was clean and in a great location. It had plenty of space for everyone! Beautiful views and fun extras. Hosts had great communication and suggestions for the area. Would definitely book again!

Family get away

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a week on the lake. It was a family vacation of all ages from grandma, parents and kids. It has everything you could ask for and more the only down saying is that the road is a little busy, but it’s so worth it.

Great lake house stay

This house was perfect for our family get away - it was my family, my sister’s family and my parents altogether! The different levels were great, especially the walkout basement for the kids hangout space! The pool table and various board games were a big hit 😊 The beach towels were definitely handy, as was the second full refrigerator in the basement! We rented a boat from Brian’s marina, and the dock and boat lift worked great! Would stay again!

Wish i knew about the bacteria in the water, grandkids came down with swimmers itch. Otherwise we all had a wonderful time! The house had everything and was super nice. Everyone had a great time

Ladies Weekend

House is very spacious and very well decorated. The temperature controlled bedrooms were such an unexpected treat. Coffee bar was so cute. Only wish the house was located in a nicer part of the lake as it was mucky and weedy. Needed to boat to sandbar to swim. But the girls all had a blast playing corn hole and cards in the big yard.

Great Getaway

Our family of 5 and my brothers family of 4 stayed for three nights at the Anchors Away Getaway and we all had a great time!! It was a smooth experience from booking to checkout, I really appreciate Rob and Chelsea’s open communication to ensure we understand everything and all our questions answered fast. It was a beautiful house on the water with all the fun stuff needed to keep us entertained for our time there. It was also very clean and well stocked of the necessities like towels bedding and kitchen stuff. We give it 5 out of 5 stars and look forward to stay again!!

Annual family lake trip!

Every summer my family and by siblings’ families meet at a different lake in Michigan to spend a week together! This place fit all of our needs and then some!! The teens enjoyed the games and kayaks and nightly fire pit! The dock was perfect to dock our boat, and the lake provided plenty of fishing opportunities for the guys! The property was extremely clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room to sleep comfortably and spread out for all 12 of us! The hosts were super friendly and accommodated all of our needs and questions quickly and efficiently! We all agree there is no other place to visit! We will just come back to this place and enjoy it all over again!

Ladies trip!

The home is clean and beautiful! There was plenty of space and comfy beds. The bathrooms were very clean. We got great use of the kayaks and peddle boat! The location was great, with several restaurants/bars close-by. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the upper deck overlooking the lake, it was really nice! The neighbors were friendly. Great communication with the Hosts! We don’t have a bad thing to say about the experience. The gnats were in full force though, which eventually became humorous to watch a friend walk into a swarm :) so, bring your bug spray. Another great girls trip!

Family summer vacation

We had a great 5 night stay as a family with 8 adults and 2 young children. The house was clean and stocked with toiletries, kitchen supplies, toys for the kids, games, and kayaks/peddle boat. The pool table and games were great for the one rainy day we had and late night fun. The bonfire pit was nice at night. The views were amazing from all 3 levels. We enjoyed sunsets from the deck and the large family room couch. We had tons of fun fishing off the dock and caught lots of blue gill, perch and bass. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious. The location was convenient to stores and the Lakeland recreation for putt putt, go carts and batting cages. Communication was prompt and helpful. We recommend this vacation rental and would love to stay again!

Would book again!

Rob and Chelsea were very helpful, informative, and quick to respond/communicate. We had no issues with checking in, and everything was laid out in an organized fashion to help guide us through our stay. Great hosts! We had four families (toddlers and young kiddos), and were all very comfortable for our stay. The property was very clean, provided us with all of our essentials, and not to mention great views. They even had a water table for our toddlers, and they loved it! All in all, everything was wonderful. Our only recommendation would to have the basement bedroom air conditioned. We stayed on a very warm weekend in July, so the basement was still a little muggy and warm. There were fans provided which helped. The house is on a busier street, which we were informed to use caution ahead of time, so backing out was a little nerve-wracking. There is ample space to turn around and pull out forward. Would recommend to our friends, and we would stay again! Thank you, Rob and Chelsea!
