Location on the lake was perfect. Very private with views every bit as good as the pictures suggest. Perfect for our large group including small children.
Beautiful, spacious home and location. Upkeep of house could be better, and offer more resources to clean up during the stay (dish soap, cleaning wipes, etc). It would benefit from a deep clean, but we enjoyed our stay overall!
Beautiful property; great beach for us; lots of spaces for relaxing and fun; many games and water vehicles. Property manager does not know property. No hot tub or EV. Several water craft, not one. We did not have to call during our stay except our access code did not work. We all received multiple insect bites from outdoors and inside the house. Only one relatively small refrigerator.
Great location, very quiet lake, friendly neighbors, beautiful home and property ( a few things maybe could use some small fixes - one of the bunk beds top bunk rails were loose ), all the bedrooms should have an air conditioning unit two did not. But we lucked out with only one day of humid hot weather. We will likely rent again next year.

Beautiful property
Beautiful property, enjoyed our stay. That said - Access code that was provided - did not work. Very thankful that a door was unlocked after checking each door. While on the phone with the management company multiple times. They finally got back to me a few days later, as where to find the spare key. Fees were excessive, $50.00 to check in one hour early! With what you pay for cleaning and management fees. I expected more. One 42" TV. The property has listed a hot tub. A Jetted bath tub is not a hot tub.
Our family enjoyed our stay at Kangaroo lake! It’s a wonderful space for larger groups. My only negative observation is when we arrived the house seemed to have been locked up for a lengthy amount of time. It was very stuffy and stale inside. We opened all the windows to air the place out and it was very comfortable.
I would have thought that a cleaning crew would have been at the location before we arrived given the strict check-in/check-out policy, however, my sister and I noticed a lot of dust on the raised edges of all the drawers in the kitchen and the door frames.
I tried to send an FYI to the management company of the property but never received a response concerning this issue.
The house was perfect for our three families. It had various areas for lounging both inside and outside. The lake itself was very calm and quite sleepy for mid-July. It was heavenly. I enjoyed morning kayaks listening to my audible book. When it came to the kids, we loved that the water was shallow beyond the dock. It definitely made water play feel safer while the adults chatted away. When the kids went out in the kayaks and small boats, we, of course, had them wear jackets. We brought a few smaller ones since we read the property only had adult-sized jackets. The week was spent with the windows open. A lovely breeze blew in each day. Since it's a nicely shaded property, the temperature stayed cool both day and night. We had a couple of issues with a clogged sink and dislocated shower head from the group before us. The management company did send a plumber. We were pleased with the timeliness. STAY! You won't regret it!
For the fifth year, our group of three families (including five kids ages 7–11) rented a lake house in WI at this price point. While we were excited about the potential of this property, we would not recommend it. Communication with the property management company was slow and confusing. Though the listing mentions window A/C units, they were ineffective for the size of the home. The layout and decor were unique, and the lake views were beautiful, but the home was poorly maintained. It was not properly cleaned: crumbs, cobwebs, and dirty appliances greeted us; and we had to clean the fridge, freezer, and countertops before unpacking. Basic supplies like garbage bags and propane were missing, and we had to bring our own cleaning products, soap, and paper goods due to the minimal starter kit. The dock, while offering beautiful sunset views, was unstable and lacked proper support. On day three, a storm knocked out water and electricity. While this wasn’t the property’s fault, we received no communication from the owner or management regarding safety or contingency plans. We ventured out to purchase flashlights ourselves. The property has potential, but based on our experience, we would not return.
