Beautiful house, great communication with the host, perfect location. house had everything my group needed and the host was even willing to go out of his way to get more lake equipment for us, which was greatly appreciated.

The property is beautifully maintained and sunsets on the lake are incredible! The home is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make a great vacation. Scott was very responsive and reached out to make sure our stay was going well. We were a group of friends celebrating a wedding, but I could easily see this being a fantastic place to bring a family. Check-in was very smooth and check-out requests were very reasonable.

Family vaca in Bama

The house was very unique and comfortable 👌 It was decorated nice and clean. My family and I were in Alabama for a wedding and this house worked out well for us. Can't wait to go back again!!

This property is nothing shy of perfection! Scott was phenomenal and so easy to work with and knowledgeable about the area. The house is great! Huge showers, comfy beds, the property is in fantastic shape!!

Great house for a large family.

We had a family wedding at a nearby venue and this house was conveniently located. We had several extended family members stay with us and this house was perfect with two king bedrooms and the large bunk room. Although our stay wasn’t just for relaxing, the house would have been perfect for a lake vacation. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured.

Eagles Nest is such a beautiful and welcoming place. I was surprised to see a Christmas tree and holiday decorations out. The view was spectacular. In addition, to the spacious house, the kitchen was perfect for being the center of the house. The warmth I felt from all the details made the wedding weekend even more special with our family and friends who came to share our special occasion,

Absolutely the most well appointed, clean home. Truly not a single suggestion to improve our stay. My FIL owned and operated a Bed n Breakfast for 35 years. He could only say,” Spectacular”. Our youngest guest who is German and travels a lot said it is her favorite home she has ever stayed in. It was so perfect that we are for sure returning and recommending The Eagles Nest.( but not until we secure a second visit . Scott was attentive and so generous with his replies. Eagles Nest - Lay Lake

The owner, Scott, was super helpful and friendly. This property exceeded our expectations as photos, typically, distort the true property. This property did not. It was relaxing and provided a great experience.

Friends getaway

There were six of us ladies. The house exceeded our expectations, was fully equipped with everything and tastefully decorated. This is a great place for a large family or large group of friends. There are many games for kids and adults available. I will definitely consider going back.

Hands down, the best place to stay!

The house, the property, and the hosts far surpassed our expectations when it came to renting. The house is even more beautiful and wonderful in person. The moment we walked in we were in shock of just how lovely this place was. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and were great at communication. All the personal touches from the bucket of snacks to the cut firewood- we could not have had a better place. The kitchen/living room was perfect for having our family come over for a bbq. The arcade game was awesome for my teenage godson (and us!) we even got to take the paddle boat out and watched the sunset. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect vacation spot. Definitely will go back!!

One of the nicest and best places we have ever stayed. I cannot say enough good things about this lake house. It honestly felt like a real home away from home from the start. Everything was so clean and had every amenity you could think of for staying on the lake. From the Coffee Bar, to the Smores basket, as well as kayaks, lounge chairs and even a Lilly pad for the lake. Dozens of games to play whether you were outside (corn hole) or playing at the table. We had 3 teenagers and also appreciated the layout of the place and very large rooms and closets. The beds were so comfortable and every bedroom had its own sleep machine. We stayed for 5 days and cooked all of our meals at the place and we had every dish, cooking utensils and even some spices and condiments we needed. One of our most favorite daily activities was kayaking to the Goat Island were we saw approximately 20 goats that was just down from the place and our kids loved fishing from the pier that was spacious and very well maintained. I would not change one thing about this place. If you are considering staying I assure you every expectation will be surpassed!! Needless to say, we will go back!!
